This was so cool! I love how all my first instincts turned to be right, but at the same time and not one or the other! And how the pattern really gave a feeling it wanted to do something and go somewhere. I am a knitter and appreciated working with a pattern. I love how you could be kind of wrong but could see you were on the right track.
You were actually given two clues, one in the image and the other in a response. I would recommened ignoring everything else in this thread as there is too much noise and people confusing the methods making a lot of commens misleading.
I suggest using those clues to Google types of puzzles. From there you will find your way.
There's not really any other clues that can be given as the type of puzzle is the answer.
Without searching in the right place or with the right additional keywords the word probably won't find anything meaningful. You need to think about where to search or what you are looking for connected to that word.
You are looking for a way to get the answer, you should be searching for a way to find the solution. If it hasn't come to mind already, then it's likely you might not be familiar with the puzzle concept. I recommend jumping onto Google and finding a puzzle that matches the design and clues that have been given to you. Once you find that, you'll be good to go :)
@NPElolli I am not a creator, nor am i involved with creating these puzzles, but i would be glad if you reformulated or redact your second to last comment.
Based on some comments by @DrHydrosaur earlier in the thread, i sat down to figure out how to solve this in excel, and i chose to do the added challenge of not using VBA (i dont know if he used VBA or just Conditional Formatting or what, but i just ASSUMED it would be harder without it). Turns out: it was actually pretty straightforward.
Now i can just watch this calculate out into infinity... or in this case, about ~320 moves before it runs out of steam :D
Hey - I am wreking my mind about, what the next step is after I got the inverted image. I however I try to rearange the picture, I just don't see any pattern that relates to life/growth/evolution in any way.
This is my first decoding challange, so any additional hints are much appreciated

you don't need all the words, just one. one of the words is in italics. it has been alluded to and hinted at throughout comments in this forum.
Can't asscociate 'life' with image conversion.

Not sure what the word 'life' in italics is supposed to hint towards...

Maybe I gotta redraw the corners so they match corners of a normal QR Code. But Id need pc photoshop for that and I'm currently limited to mobile

If this is actually a 'QR Code Repair Puzzle' idk how I would be able to edit the image or what app to use.

I didn't try this but maybe you could try running a reverse image search with a picture of the grid.
Kind of an issue on mobile...
[REDACTED]
:-)
AAAAAA finally!

happy for you that you got it though :-)
edit: thank you!
What do you do with the media though?
Collect, and that's it, it seems
it's your trophy and award for solving the challenge.

Made it to 453 here, but I wasn't limiting it to the initial 27x27 grid (Looks like 310 here with 27x27 grid with no edge overlaps)
You watch it and enjoy having it in your collection 😁
Same. I let my system run until the 79th before I realised there was nothing useful after the 1st. I had to do the input all over again 😂
Oh, yeah, I should have said keeping the 27x27. Anything that goes outside the border just “falls off”
I'd worked out what I expected by this time and was stepping through... one step and I was like, Eureka!
Yay!!!! Very fun, the hint is very important to solve it!!!
I got it too...turns out I was inverting at the wrong step. Doh. 😂
I can't read my qr code I processed.
Maybe I got a wrong processing method or weak scanner tools.
Could someone help me to check my qr code pictures by telegram?
My head...🤯
Finally, I got it!
Thanks to everyone who tried to help me, Rusdian Riza especially.

is this insightful?
It's an insight into which version of the game you should not be playing.
