Tank you
Thks
this is awesome!
The Humanist – Yuri Nagassa
Chakras, humors, and spirits — you realize they were all grasping at things you always understood naturally. The core essence of a human’s life force is a thing that you can touch and affect at will.
An amazing puzzle!
Initial observation, it LOOKS a lot like a "Data Matrix" code, minus the obligatory bordering (an "L" in black-or-white, and an alternating border on the other two sides). Which would be 8 possibilities to check (4 orientations in 2 colour schemes)
Or, that could just be a terrible waste-of-time rabbit hole. (And regardless, I have no image manipulation ability on my iphone at this time to even attempt that.)
Edit: this is a useless useless rabbit hole. It suckered me out of too much of my life
Thanks for this new decoding challenge!
The text on the background says:
Chakras, humors, and spirits — you realize they were all grasping at things you always understood naturally. The core essence of a human’s life force is a thing that you can touch and affect at will.
Good luck!!
Is this where you post media drops?

I was thinking about this, myself. Either that, or Minesweeper
Solved!
Damn you fast Kasetohu.
It was exactly what I thought it was, just took too long with the mechanical steps.
Do I think what it was too?
me too!
after the hard guesswork of the past puzzle this was straight forward and I was literally amazed when I saw it :-)
I got it! It was fun!
Interesting. I think I have some things I want to read about, now. 😃
Wow, can't believe I figured this one out so fast after struggling with the other puzzles so much. Really cool one!
This was easy, albeit a bit tedious if you don't know a way to automate it
Nice!
Yep, quick solve - can go home from work now. I had to recycle some stuff to get the passcode to work. :-)
I did this in C - there have to be faster methods.
I knew how to automate it. I seriously think it would be faster manually drawing it in, but that relies on making no mistakes, being able to check your work quickly, and taking a punt on the solution.
Automating it, made me have doubts, and I had to measure twice due to insufficient image editing skills to do resizing etc and Aliasing potentially screwing me up. I suspect something better at Pixel Art then photoshop, or someone with Photoshop could have shaved 15m off my solve time, and still done the double check for aliasing issues.
Then afterwards, struggling with various methods of reading the output, in a panic to be fast.
Thank you for the awesome puzzle! 😁
This is going to be a difficult solve, if you havn't been exposed to the game previously.
There is hints that will lead you down the right path, using techniques from previous puzzles. (background text look familiar)
Some googling of the hint text, and various variations might yield a hint to what to do, but the hint while obvious, is very subtle/slight unless I'm missing something, and I don't imagine that someone that hasn't seen this before solving it.
It's often used as an intro to programming / comp sci.
Oh boy another thing I have never heard of, not having that background. I imagine this is so simple if you have heard of it that any hints are too much? My first thought was something involving core memory but I only vaguely know what that is.
Not this time. It requires knowledge and a tool to solve. Think about what the grid could be.
I didn't realize what it was, til I saw the hint. So the hint is your only hope IMO.
yes, very interesting. thank you!
Honestly, I don't know how to start with this.
Ohh. I think I know exactly what it is. Good hint.
There is indeed a big visible hint. A good starting point is the archetype description.
