Are supporting statements for portal edits coming?
Are other changes to speed up portal edit review times coming? In my area, edits are effectively a waste of time as no response has come through in several years.
If an agent marks a Wayfarer Nomination as duplicate or 1 star it and it gets withdrawn from consideration before a decision has been rendered, do agents lose out on what would have been an assured agreement?
Would a up-scale Japanese hibachi restaurant in the middle of southern West Virginia meet the criteria for a hidden gem/local attraction or should it be rejected as a generic local business because there are dozens of similar restaurants in downtown Tokyo? What about a tavern that attempts to capture the atmosphere of a 1920s speakeasy? In short, is "generic" defined by what other business are local or on whether such businesses exist elsewhere even if it is hundreds or thousands of miles away?
There is number of agents from both factions that quit ingress or reduced playing ingress because of payed anomalie ticket, poor performance of the prime client and server, bad gui of prime client.
Will there be a reaction of niantic to stop this?
Will there be changes in the prime gui like visibility of grey portals, bigger action buttons, faster reactions...?
I really like submitting using my Gallery photos, since it's way easier to collect ideas and good photos over time instead of at the moment the Submit window opens and in a big rush. It's been a game changer for us iPhone users.
With the ability to use gallery photos before the submission, I've seen the occasional attempt in Wayfarer to digitally blur portions of submitted photos to hide the fact that a Submission Attempt may be located in an inappropriate location (such as near Adult Services).
While I think cropping or straightening or changing the brightness of a photo for the best possible look is fine, does OPS agree that intentionally digitally blurring portions of the image would be considered a Low Quality Photo and thus 1*?
In last AMA you said that the EAW badge will return.Which way will it appear again?Make characters post at Twitter, community or other places?Or in a new way?
Prior to Wayfarer it was asserted that it was impossible for Factions to game OPR to benefit one side or punish the other because equal parts agreements between factions had to be met before a portal was accepted or rejected. With the advent of Wayfarer we now have factionless voting tipping the scales possibly one way or another. Is faction balance still relevant to Wayfarer voting and outcomes?
I like to make a suggestion, the question would be what you think about and how possible it would be: a "photo registry book" feature at portals, accessible only at location (not keys or comm) allowing the owner of the portal to add a picture of itself within the portal. The picture can last until a new owner add a new picture, or have a small historic of previous owners.
It maybe seem unnecessary, but would be really cool especially for those far away and hard access portals.
Since Redacted has been retired, would it be possible to have a visual marker or something that will show which portals are unique? It would help a ton towards the Explorer Badge as trying to guess which ones have already been hacked can be a pain with large cities.
This question was asked multiple times for the October AMA but was skipped over. And since then I've seen several comment threads in these forums complaining about the same thing.
Q: Ever since the OPR/Wayfarer rejection reasons have come back to submitters, we keep seeing wildly mindboggling reasons being given. A painted mural on a wall will be rejected for having "human body parts" as a specific example. Or a playground in the middle of a public park might get rejected for having "no safe pedestrian access". Some of the reviewers are clearly abusing the review system, and enough of them are doing so to cause invalid rejections. Our current recourse is still only to resubmit, resubmit, resubmit. But what else is on Niantic's future roadmap to help submitters flag such spurious rejections reasons as abuse?
I have a couple of questions pertaining to the 1* reject reasons. Is it possible to ask the team if we can get a change to the 1* reject reasons? I have noticed people have been randomly suggesting different 1* rejection reasons besides a valid reason such as K-12 on a community pool, a permanent marker called a natural feature etc., is there a way for a written response be required for 1* rejections that way people have to do two steps to verify it is a 1* candidate and it would help catch pre-canned responses of people constantly using the same basic text to avoid a cool down. Another issue is with military bases you got a reply in the august AMA mentioning we are to 1* military bases no matter any other criteria we are still getting them in voting and reports are submissions are passing. Can we get military bases as an individual category on the 1* reject reasons outside of the obstructs emergency services? People are under the impression if it isn't obstructing a fire or police station it is still valid.
The emergence of new portals in Ingress was justified by the fact ADA created Operation Portal Recon and the tool that came with to expand the Portal Network since she acquired the ability to do so. What about Niantic Wayfarer ? Does ADA still have an implication in portal creation ? Did the lore break up ?
Why Ingress can't have the cool things his younger brothers already have?
That team rocket thing would fit nicely in ingress, with portal being overwhelmed with dark xm, forcing player to resolve it before doing regular actions.

So, now that 2.0 is mandatory... Ingress 3.0 when? 😉

When will Nia let us change Home location? And Bonus location more often?
There has been large debates on whether Pineapple belongs on Pizza, do you have an opinion on this matter?
Is there an approximate timeframe for when the backend upgrade will happen? We wanna see new features 😊

My understanding is, Mission at Sea had a moving portal for Agents to hack, any plans to implement this further?

Trail markers on roads, should these be accepted? A trail may follow a road for a while, before continuing into e.g. the woods again.

Are there any plans or deal in the making for more sponsored items (circle k cubes etc)?

Hi, following up on last month's question about mission submissions and reviews.
Although rejections come with some "reason(s)" for rejection in the email, they often don't seem to fit the actual submission.
How would it be possible to get useful answers?
Can you confirm that Ingress is set in the same universe as Battle Toads?

Why everything we ask here in community, disregarding the AMAs, get no official answer?
When the 8 max outgoing links have been reached, linking is still possible, unless you close the linking hub. Any progress on fixing that?

Gaat NIA er voor zorgen dat portals verschuiven niet meer kan.
Some portals' photo seem not meet the standard and it's hard to delete. Will NIA propose a solution to reduce the situation?
