Don‘t you think that destroying is rewared with too many AP? Destroying gives you about 60% of the AP that the builder of the fields got. But it requires no skills and only a fraction of the time that the builder invested. It would make more sense if the AP for building and destroying would be in the same relation as the required efforts.
There has been a lot of confusion regarding certain types of playgrounds. It seemed like indoor playgrounds, even McDonalds playgrounds, were canonized; then uncanonized in the new wayfarer guide(by requiring historical or cultural significance that no playground I’m aware of has), and then in the last AMA given a status as ok as long as it’s not a part of a business. Can we get clarification/simplification on this such as ‘playgrounds are valid as long as they are not on school property, a military base, or part of a daycare’? Adding things like ‘may not be approved due to difficulty in confirming location’ or ‘if they are not part of a business’ seem to make this too complicated for a lot of people and/or lead to a wide variety of interpretations by reviewers that lead to a lot of frustration.
When submitting a location edit, many agents are also submitting a description edit at the same time, telling reviewers which location they would like them to choose. Is this something Niantic approve of? And if not, are there plans to show location/description edits in seperate reviews, so reviewers can choose the best location based on maps and satellite rather than the instructions of the submitter?
a tech question again: Will you unlock the game for higher framerates and 100% resolution scaling? Optional graphics checkboxes in the settings would be fine for this. Since you unlocked glyphing for 60fps it became really apparent how much nicer the gameplay feels with higher framerates, so why not have it for the map view also? If battery usage is an issue: We're Ingress players. We have powerbanks.
There has been some back and forth about whether or not a candidate would be valid if it’s on the premises of an already sponsored location. Does that disqualify a candidate?
Recently events with tiered badges (such as IntelOps and OPR live) are not held frequently. But those tier levels are too difficult to upgrade. I think those tier should be modified, or those could be hold those more frequently?
Will the ability to see ourself on the scanner when using remote view come back soon? I think it was possible on Redacted. If this isn't the right place, where can I submit this?
Sorry for posting multiple times, but these were generally enquired about in the community here in regards to OPR
3. Many well known smart phone Companies have an automatic Water Marks on their photos. Few Submissions which have only the phone model of brand name as watermarks, where the submitter is non identifiable. Can we accept these? Do we have leniency in such rural Submissions?
For e.g: Watermarks like "Shot on OnePlus", "Shot on PoCo".
4. How are we defining a rural setup, how much portal density would we consider it to be rural, thus showing liniency in OPR in such areas.
e.g: Do 10 portals in a 5km radius count as rural?
5. Submissions made while in a vehicle, if the photo is clear and is a valid portal. Can we accept such Submissions? (This can help in rural submissions)
e.g: The Submission seems perfect but the car dashboard is slightly visible in the bottom right. As long as the Submission and the details are correct and the portal is valid, can we not accept these portals?
Can something be done or looked into for the consistency of portal appeals, it seems very much like pot luck if an appeal is successful.
Within the last week there has been one appeal to remove a falsified portal which never existed rejected, despite there being pictures proving it isnt there and doesn't exist, while another appeal, which didnt follow any of the appeal guidlines, wasnt completed correctly and had 3 valid portals on it, was accepted and all removed.
It really feels as if there is no consistency with appeals at all
I’ve been experiencing a bug with my nominations. I will get the nomination has been received screen and then no confirmation email and it does not show up in wayfarer, and it counts as used nominations. I had about 7 do that over the last two rounds of nominations, reported it. Three showed up a little over two weeks late but haven’t heard anything about the others. Will they give us back nominations if they did indeed limbo?
Do you think it would be helpful as far as making money to have us have avatars, like in Pokémon and Wizards Unite so that you could add clothing to the store to sell?
Item idea: XM Catalyst. Similar or lower drop rate as ADA and Jarvis but when deployed on a portal temporarily beefs it up to lvl 8 for say for maybe 10min.
In my country (Poland, but I think same applies for Czech) it is common for certain very old trees in the cities to be labaled as "Monument of nature" due to their scientific/cultural value. This monuments of nature are marked by a small board on its bark, which states that they are the protected "treasure" of the country. They are also listed at district website. However, they do not have any additional self-standing man-made boards.
As a result of very unfortunate translation of "natural feature" as "element of nature", such candidates, and any other candidates that have at least a small element of nature, are considered invalid. Is this the correct approach?
If not - I strongly encourage you to change the translation from 'element of nature' to 'natural area', which more accurately describes term 'natural feature'.
What is the possibility of there being a MOD to kick out only power cubes? We have ones for Building (ITO EN Transmuter +) and Destroying(ITO EN Transmuter -).. why not a Healing?
I’m trying to figure out a good example of a local hotspot that will pass review. We have a local non-chain coffee shop that is a common place for College students studying together and just people grabbing coffee with friends. Additionally it brands itself as a Cuban coffee shop and has a lot of cultural aspects inside. Would this kind of business fit what Niantic is looking for with that local hotspot criteria?
When doing OPR, or rather Wayfarer now, I often find it looks like people are submitting every single building on a college campus - dorms, classroom buildings, administration buildings, buildings that are named after people who donated large amounts of money, etc.
Could I have some clarification as to which of these college buildings are good portals, and which aren't?
Would you like the idea of introducing a sort of "automatic filter" on the inventory?
I'm picturing it like I set that I do not want more than 50 reso L1, 25 reso L2, etc. and every time I do an hack on a portal, the excessive amount of those items would be automatically recycled.
This would be useful in situations like during a banner, where I constantly need to "stop and recycle", slowing the overall time of execution both for me and my friends.
It would be especially useful to those of us who are constantly near the 2000 items cap.
I don't think it would be a "game-braker", but it would help in enjoying more the game because I would pass less time looking at the screen for recycling those annoying XMP1 and more time actually admiring the panorama that the banner offers me.
The new "manage" option of Prime has helped, but only for items for that I want to recycle the entire stack, while for other types of items I'd like to always keep a minimum amount, and so I need to manually select the quantity to be recycled.
I have 3 submissions in limbo over 700 days old. 2 more over 500 days old. 2 more over 300 days old. A further 11 over 100 days old. Some of these are are already portals that have come online many months after my submissions after being resubmitted and yet the original submissions linger in Limbo.
I have submitted many many additional newer clearer pictures for portals which Niantic just refuse for no good reason.
I have had submissions refused for "not existing" or "not being in that location" despite being absolutely clearly visible on streetview and photospheres.
I have submitted many many removal submissions which were refused despite the portal object clearly no longer existing, being demolished, painted over, never existing, again clearly seen from streetview or photospheres.
What is the point of trying to "improve the portal network" when good submissions are refused for absolutely no good reason? These fake reviews going unpunished.
What is the point of trying to remove invalid portals when you contract basic evidence?
What is the point of trying to upload newer, up to date, correct pictures which are point blank refused?
What is the point of submissions what just go into limbo for hundreds of days for no good reason?
In short, what is the point of "trying to improve the portal network". Why bother?
And please try to answer without claiming wayfarer will be a magic wand to solve everything because it won't.
There is clearly a fundamental problem with the system and completely arbitrary without any recourse.
When it comes to fishing piers, is the sign requirement really necessary? Most piers do not have signs but are indeed outdoor gathering places for an outdoor activity that is considered a sport with tournaments and competitions.
Can something be done about the warnings on peoples profiles on the forum not being removed correctly , if you check my profile you'll see I have the Jailbars on my profile, which should have been removed after 30 days, we are now at day 36 and ive still got them, and so have others

Our OPR community can't agree on what should be accepted as
trail markers and not. Please see the picture below. Which of these, if any, should be accepted?
Description for each of the numbered trail markers, skip if not needed:
1. Colored plastics tied to e.g. trees
2. Colored spray on trees/rocks and such
3. "Mile stone", carved in stone
4. Big wooden post (not always with arrow for direction, sometimes just with a red paint on top)
5. Small wooden stick (Some times not with indicator for trail name, just paint)
6. Painted on plates made out of rocks
7. Piece of wood hung up with rope in e.g. trees or nailed to fences, light poles and such
8. Same as the above, but also showing the direction
9. Stickers put on e.g. pole of trafic signs, some times found on public garbage cans.
10. Signs on wall of houses or on the pole of trafic signs

With the Pokémon players getting access to wayfarer and nominations soon, are they going to be getting rid of the faction review requirements?
Is there any plans to push ingress in the public eye?

We have roads for pilgrim voyage that are almost 1000 years old (because of a major change in our
country's history back then). One is supposed to walk these roads, but it's possible to drive most of them.
The Pilgrim roads are marked like trail markers, but the OPR comunity can't agree if they should be
accepted as portal candidates since they're following roads or is close to a road and is therefor not
trail marker. Please give us some guide on this matter.

Where are Prime 2.35? Soon but take long time to relese.
How about Mission Day submissions for 2020? Heard that's not possible at the moment. Could you please tell us a bit about future plans and roadmap?
