Hi Andrew! when I show ingress to our newcomers, many people have a question: where are the textures of sky, earth? Why is there a black void around? Ask programmers and designers to make some nice gradient or texture instead of this bottomless darkness. Thank you.
See how it was done in another game. This is an ideal example of how it could be in ingress.
When can we expect to see a call for applications again for the Field Test event? I had a blast at the Providence, RI one and would happily participate in another.
Are there plans for the mission badges to have the same alignments as they used to in Redacted? Right now all the banners look off enough that it looks weird.
There has been some debate in my community about the candidate: Water Tower.
The policy was ACCEPT if accessible without entering a restricted area, is uniquely decorated, or are otherwise a notable monument.
The "or" sentence there leads to misinpretation. It should be accepted if it meets:
1. accessible without entering a restricted area; 2. uniquely decorated; 3. notable monument
There's people who thinks it should meet all of the criteria, other that it should meet 1 and 2 or 3, and some that think that it's acceptable if it meets only one of them (say, it meets 2, but not 1 nor 3, it still should be accepted).
Q: I assume you would bring the famous lasagna to any potluck events. How conflicted would you feel if the host specified "gluten free dairy free allergen free" as seems to be the rage these days?
When reviewing nominations, I've been encountering a very high amount of purposely misplaced nominations to make using them more convenient (e.g. indoor POIs in parking lots, and buildings marked at the street).
Could Niantic provide a clear guideline for when we should move things to the correct place vs reject as mismatched location? I generally want to approve qualified portals, but I also don't think this placement abuse should be rewarded. I'm sure the choice also effects agreements as reviewers handle these cases differently.
With Wayfarer, the street view, 3D view, and satellite views can often vary, sometimes by 20+ feet. There have been several complaints about POIs getting moved to the wrong spot during review, and I suspect this is the cause. Perhaps Niantic could specify which of these 3 views should be used when determining correct placement or moving POIs.
Are murals on privatehouses (especially in european countries) which are clearly visible from the street (or only from there) and are obviously meant to be seen from pedestrians eligible portal candidates, when nobody is encouraged to enter private property?
There I am, Burstering, Burstering, Burstering . . . I run out of X8s, no worries, I have plenty of X7s in reserve . . . stoopid Ingress Prime advances to US1s, NOT my X7s, as in a simpler times.
Wayfarer's new "Featured Wayspots" gallery is nice, but the picture that's displayed is aligned to the left edge of the picture. Could the Developers make it centre aligned? It would likely look better.

How did I get this question in?
What's the new badge gonna be like?
Simple one, why is your opr bonus location can be changed yearly, but the home location only once? From a database perspective it doesn't make sense?
Will we ever get a profile-screenshot function?

What is the correct approach on water towers?

Why does the Investigate link on the website go to Reddit instead of the Community site?
What was the purpose of the AI thing on the website? Is it really progressing or has the rogue nature of the internet got the better of it.

Can you ask someone to Please Fix?

Can Nemesis win?
Closing questions for now.
