Is there a place or person (that has previously solved) that could validate part of the passcode (keyword and suffix)? I dont want to give away big hints if I'm correct.
No, rather there is at least one to many Kakuro hints than needed, if you find the right one to ignore suddenly all the numbers fit without contradictions. I think of it as false intel, find the false one and you are on track.
For me its the 5 doble digit numbers from the right puzzle that are giving me a pounding head and tense neck. I have done that puzzle two times, I have 90% likely done it right and got the right double digits, but there is literally more than a hundred ways of turning them to letters and or numbers, and I have not stumbled across the right one yet, ..probably, hope so. Looking for something obvious from dreamer to pop out and tell me I found the converter but no luck so far. Only 2 hours to new years eve party and I have done nothing today but bang my head against this for the second day 😂
Only thing I can recommend is simplify your thinking. I tied myself in knots, thinking there was something I had to do to everything ahead of time to make it compatible with Kakuro, but I should have stuck with my captain crunch decoder ring thinking from the first time around and just done everything in a really simple way that pops up in ARGs all the time instead of mistrusting my results. I was skeptical about the wrong thing.
Also, one good skill to cultivate when doing these puzzles is what various kinds of string conversions look like. While you may not know immediately what a string says without using a converter, if you are familiar with several formats for data you will begin to recognize specific arrangements of characters and ranges of numbers as pointing to a method you have seen before, and can begin to try to make your results match the space that those numbers should fit in if they are supposed to mean something. For instance, if you see a string with a bunch of numbers and letters of both upper and lower case, it is worth throwing it through a base64 converter.
I also cannot seem to understand the third puzzle the first two were fairly simple. I solved for all the equation letters and my numbers just don’t make sense. I’ve seen people saying that this isn’t a Kakuro puzzle? Is there any hint that can guide me in the right direction for this one. It almost seems that I’m overthinking this.
Treat the third one like a cross word puzzle where you just fill the values into the corresponding row/column for the given letter. That is how you can spot the wrong clue, and then you can use the grid to figure out the colored boxes. Hope that helps!
I think I have it figured out except every time I try and enter it on the intel map it pops up with a blank box. I checked and it didn't give me the media either. If I type in an invalid code, it does pop up with the same box but tells me the code is invalid. Not sure what the problem is.
Intel Map is a bit broken at the moment. If you get the blank box I think that means it didn't process the code and you just have to keep reloading and hoping it works next time. If you have Android, it might be easier entering the code into the scanner.
I'm in the same boat. I did A1Z26 for the whole thing. Not sure how or why the first three need a different conversion. The last 4 characters don't elude to any keyword I can find on any of the lists. This has been leading me to rethink the whole 7 letter conversion from the middle puzzle.

So guess I just needed to type the above reply. I looked down at the letters again and the number popped out of the three letters at me.
Can I bounce my guess off of someone? I have all three words decoded. The middle bit is clearly needing a bit of an extra step, and I am Intel maps is full of suck at the moment :)

I know it, right a few minutes after i "saw" the passcode 😉
Intel needs VR heat sinks, four might not even be enough. The cool down is way too long 😒
Or VR multi hacks? 🤔
VR MH would be cool too if that allows us to redeem L8 and VR passcodes multiple times 😁

I contacted you via Telegram, assuming you use the same username there.
Thanks for the help @NineBerry.
Stupid error on my side.
Could anyone tell me what side the error is on for the middle puzzle? Is it in the top left? The top right?
Is it the hint in the second puzzle thats off by 9 because changing the value by 9 on any of them makes that area unsolvable

I think right above

I wonder if you got the same double digit numbers that I got for the right puzzle?
so if I ignore one of the hints for the middle puzzle everything else will work out?
So I am pretty sure I found the error and it was 9 off what do you do with the numbers after that? Sum them?
yeah right, the error is to tell us that the sum doesn't have to be the same in that part ...

It was wild, @Mernie9 is apparently some sort of kakuro sorceress and found the error within 2 minutes of looking

Did you solve it?
No but I think I found the error. I dont exactly know what to do next with the numbers in the colored boxes though
What do you do with the numbers in the colored boxes once you have solved the middle puzzle?
Are the pink ones used? Can anyone tell me if I'm close?

No, I ignored it
Solved it! Thanks for the tips everyone!
