Apparently, I can’t delete a quote once I select one ... so I am forced now to reply.
I’m not saying anyone is wrong. But I still don’t know what the coding system is for that hint and I have no clue where to start because I have no useful keywords to search with.
I fully agree. I have solved the puzzle, redeemed the passcode and obtained the media. However, I still cannot for the life me work out what the hint is meant to be. I have tried googling the scientist, his theory and all that. Still can't figure out what I02NMAEE60GIMHE means. lol.
Am I correct that a valid passcode for this challenge just gets you stuck in "redeeming passcode..." I failed on Chrome and Safari on OS X and on iOS. ** note that I am reposting this because I can not see my previous comment.
I was exactly there at one point. I realized the keyword could be impossible if the first two letters were “LF” because no word starts with LF (those are the wrong letters , but the same idea). But, if my decoding was slightly off and the numbers should be 12 5 instead of 12 6, then the letters could be LE. Looking closer I saw there was a way to get 5 instead of 6. Then I noticed other places I could get my numbers lower. Suddenly I had a keyword appropriate for an Ingress passcode.
Thought I had it. Nope. I noticed I could get one letter lower. Tried to redeem ... nope. Looked again, and noticed I could get another letter lower. Then it worked !
I've been repeatedly trying for over an hour now and all I get is 'redeeming passcode' or 'scanner communication error'. Considering this is a timed challenge, it's a bit frustrating..
Error: Server Error
The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.
There is probably other methods but the method that is easiest can very much be found using the bottom right hint. From there you could just use an online calculator if you wanted.
It didn't make much sense to me either. I did look around for some type of cipher that would work but it's difficult to brute force it like that. I ended up disregarding it as well tbh.
ok, spent an hour and a half trying to redeem the passcode. If I change a single character, I get 'invalid passcode' so I suspect I have it right. Sod this, I'm going to bed.
I'm in the Computer Engineering world and have never heard of the particular scientist or the theory referenced, tho I did graduate quite a while ago. It may not have been something that was needed as part of my degree.
Got it tho, decent challenge. Not sure I would have gotten it without the hints.
I'm confidant I have a solve but no codes are going though on my Intel. This is very frustrating for a timed challenge. Intel is my only option being on iOS.
Is it just me? Or can anybody also not access that link? I was desperate for that list 24 hours ago. I still keep getting the "This site cannot be reached error..."
16 words. 16 char passcode. some words are extremely similar. what are the similarities between these words? moreover, what are the differences between these words?
I was pretty lost on this one for a long while. My breakthrough was googling the hints dropped in here early on. It's pretty easy with the right technique. I was also expecting the same suffix as the last two challenges to know I was on the right track. Now if I could only redeem the darn thing with these crappy passcode servers!
I know paragraph has 16 words and I have to find a way to get 16 characters...suffix ends in 13AR, keyword has 6 characters, preffix has also 6 chars... been grouping the words, calculating their differences... try to understand the clue from bottom right for possible "algorithms" or the "google calculator" thing.. still going nowhere, nevermind.

yes, there are calculators.

Please try again in 30 seconds.
Well, that's new.
on the first and second page there are clues
that's an I, not a 1
their wiki should help in reverse engineering what that hint means.
This thread has a post that refers to a certain person. Maybe go digging in earlier posts, do some research on who they mention.
Earlier was a hint about counting the difference in words in terms of insertion, deletion, and substitution. Maybe try googling it.

Feels on that issue.

Enigma He Me I? 0260
Still a novice here, but I'd love to know what this is supposed to mean.
Haven't solved it yet.
Same. Last few hours the same. If we had more foresight into the Visionary challenge we would have seen this coming.

Could someone hint at a letter or two in the keyword? Just to see if I'm on the right track. My keyword is not making any sense.
Try searching through this maybe? https://github.com/ingresscodes/keywords/blob/master/keywords.txt I'm still working on it myself but this list as helped me for the other 2.
Sorry and thanks, my brain knew it was an I, yet my fingers hit the 1 😅

Been reading the whole 6 pages back and forth, filled 3 papers with lots of "decoding" steps but I guess this one is just not for me.
same here, already with a headache trying to figure it out about the 16 numbers and the counting method but not lucky at all :/

nationalism <> nationalist = 1 char difference

It's a Christmas miracle! My code finally went thought on the 42nd-ish attempt!

This is not Lenin
Got it, but now it seems the intel page is down... 😥
Found keyword and suffix, now stucked in the first 5 numbers (or letters) that somehow has to be 6.
