Ingress 2.65.1 Release Notes
What’s New
• Portal History is live on Intel Map, enabling Agents to show and hide unique Portal visits, captures, or Scout Controlled Portals and Volatile Scout Controller Portals. The Layers button will be added to Ingress 2.65 after all Agents have access to the latest update, which adds Portal History to the Scanner app*.
• C.O.R.E. is an optional monthly subscription for $4.99 USD per month (or your local equivalent determined by your country’s exchange rate and app store pricing tiers). For more info, see our announcement here.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed: If you kept Regional Scores open passed the Checkpoint, the timer sometimes went negative. While Einstein determined that time is indeed relative, our Septicycle timer should now reset after each Checkpoint.
*We're aware of a known issue where Portal History rings temporarily disappear when a Portal's Level changes, for example from a Level 1 to Level 2 Portal, and we're working on a fix.

Awesome! Are the scout volatile ornaments hidden unless you select the "Scout Controlled" like on intel, or are they still visible no matter which layer is active?
Will the highlighted portals be for ones you have already or ones that you are missing?
Woo, finally in scanner uniques, that's great.
Would it be at all possible though to have the option to inverse the highlighted portals? So it would highlight in scanner the portals you've not visited/capped/scanned? It would make it easier in areas that you've already been through 😃.
The highlighted portals will be the ones you have already visited/captured/scout controlled.
They're working on it already ;)
Works like Portal History on Intel Map, where selecting the
Scout Controlled
layer also controls the visibility of Volatile Scout Controller Portal markers.Awesome 👌🏻
Display all 3 filters at once or only 1 at a time?
Hoping for an inverse option, but appreciate the work thus far! Thank you Ingress team!
Finally! I hope this update on my android as soon as possible 🤩
I believe it'll be one at a time like how it is on the Intel map, though having 3 rings would be awesome.

Awesome, thank you and the team for your work ^^
YES, this please
Thank you for all @NianticBrian!! I can't wait to test it!!
This is amazing! A long time coming, but still well received. I look forward to visiting a new place with their new version.
Keep up the good work.
Portal History on the Scanner should work like how it works on Intel Map today, so you can only select or enable one Visited, Captured, or Scout Controlled layer at a time. We're working on an Invert button for Intel Map, but will need additional time to investigate this on the client.
Fixed: If you kept Regional Scores open passed the Checkpoint, the timer sometimes went negative. While Einstein determined that time is indeed relative, our Septicycle timer should now reset after each Checkpoint.
👍
I hope works with the 3 filters at the same time...
I love the idea of adding it to the scanner but It might be easier to use if it shows what one is missing(at least for the uniques) vs what you already have in terms of discovery of new portals since you could leave a certain filter on and still discover new stuff while not having too much clutter of every portal you have interacted with already being highlighted. Happy either way though and glad that its making its way into the game 😀
I'm glad to have the information, but I still don't understand why it's not doing visited and captured in a single layer, so that people don't have to switch back and forth:
A visited/captured layer would be relatively simple:
As a single layer, this would be far better for people doing Pioneer and Explorer, because nine times out of ten, they're progressing them at the same time.
Then you can add an inverse layer, without increasing the layer count beyond 3 😋
Awesome🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳💙
This is an update for the ages! Thank you Brian and Team!
Anxiously pressing "refresh" on Play store. What do you mean "No Updates Available"? It's been 2 whole minutes! :)
Thanks, but it is concerning that the update falls on a Saturday (NZ).
Take your time (but not too much) investigating inversion on the client. This is really something worth pursuing!
Thank you for this! Looking forward to the update!
Looks bad and hard to see when we use Rare shields. Please fix the flag we can see if we dont capture the portal as unique.
@NianticBrian
Updates normally always fall on a US Friday or Monday, so this isn't something new. Why they do it before the weekend, only Niantic knows lol
The update isn't even out yet. Chill a bit until it gets activated for everyone, then you can start to complain.
Not usually on a Friday, Thursday or Wednesday.
As long as the devs have a break from work and spend time with their families, that is most important
