14 locations, each with a symbol in a semi-random orientation? And apparently some of these symbols are not immediately obvious, as none are blank? I cannot for the life of me see the 8th one.
I also see 42=14*3 letters in the coded text. I doubt that is a coincidence.
I am definitely stumbling at "8 letters that are a number" "two letters that are a kind of number" and "four letters that are a letter" --> supposedly the "true key"
i got a number in something that also means GMT if you translate that last word as time, but having no success running translations of number in GMT through the decoder
I know it's not the key but presumably its a "key to the key" ... but it doesn't seem to mean anything .. I know I'm close but I'm missing something ... ARGGGGH!
From 14 locations I found 3 words, which (depending on the translator) gives me a pair of not-english words, the first either starts "i" or "ne", and the second is the same either way.
Somehow that pair of words helps decode the string of 42 letters?
I tried. I get something starting with "yt...". The beginning doesn't make much sense, but the stuff towards the end does. Don't know what I am missing. 🤔 Or I am following a rabbit hole?

Any chance someone can nudge me in the right direction.
I have 14 lovely points, should I be zooming in or zooming out to somehow find the letters of the keyword? or am I going completely the wrong way?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the trip. Had fun along the way.
I got two exotic words from the world map tour. But I don't know how to use it for decoding.
I think I have the true key, but when trying to use it, I seem not to get anything useful. What am I missing? Any small clue?
Yeah, I have something now ... problem is interpretation ...
Use the satellite view. 😉
Method is mentioned in this thread. Shouldn't be a problem if you are using the right method with the right key.

but what to do with the GMT reference?
I spent some time there just because i didnt double check and took the first what google offered me
It's a coincidence.
Location is not random it could be marking the zenith. ;-)
Not sure what reference you mean but you don't need that. Just look at those locations and you will get the information you need.

Are posts containing images being sent for moderation or was it something about my 3-hour work meeting that I'm not allowed to disclose on this forum?
Got it!
The final step is tricky, but traveling around the world is fun.😊

thx!! i got it
tilt your head to the right 🤣 (for me was hard too).
That is not the true key.
You are very close to it though.
Charlize Theron maybe could help you

Too bad it seems La Malinche couldn't help this time.
That was interesting, but my three-hour work meeting really delayed me this morning. :-(
Arg .. it's not a "v"
got it ... delayed for well over an hour because I was off about one letter
yes no no
Charlize Theron for the last 4. 😗🎶
i don't get what some random actress has todo with encryption :(

Read her bio and from where she is.
