[2.138.1] Cannot download Ingress with Basic Integrity

InvestigateXMInvestigateXM ✭✭✭✭✭

The changelog for 2.138.1 mention that Google Play Integrity was enabled with Basic Integrity.

Enabled Google Play Integrity (basic integrity) on Android.

It seems however that the Play Store itself checks for Strong integrity instead, not allowing me to download (or potentially update) Ingress.

I have heard from others with two devices that they cannot download Ingress on the device without Strong integrity either due to a custom OS or root, but can do so without problems on devices that pass the Strong integrity check.

Debug log for integrity check:

Labels: [MEETS_BASIC_INTEGRITY]

Build fingerprint: OnePlus/OnePlus8Pro/OnePlus8Pro:13/TQ3A.230901.001/f71d0ea59a:userdebug/release-keys

Brand: OnePlus

Device: OnePlus8Pro

Model: IN2023

Thank you for the escalation. The team has fixed resolved. Android phones that pass Google Play's Basic and Device integrity checks should now be able to access the app from the Play Store.
