Notification emails from ingress are send since Feb 9. to the wrong email address.
For ingress I use [email protected]
For monster hunter now I use [email protected]
And Ingress attack notifications are all send to [email protected].
Monster hunter is the only Niantic game I started with the [email protected] mail account

I have a similar problem. The last account that I linked to my Niantic ID is my Nintendo account, in Pikmin Bloom. Now my Ingress notifications go to the Nintendo account email. How do I completely remove the Nintendo account email address from my Niantic account? Is unlinking the Nintendo account from the Niantic account from within Pikmin Bloom enough?
I have to confirm this bug too. My attack notifications are now going to another email address that I have never linked my Google profile with.
Did the API changed with attack notifications? I had to reinstall the app for notifications to appear again and that's when I noticed the attack notifications going to a different email. I'm confused on how this is even possible unless it's using of a setting with Oauth.
I removed my Facebook account because that's the other thing connected to my other email address...
Attack notification emails go to the one email I have NEVER connected with Ingress with. What the hell? This is a big security risk with GDPR.
I'm not sure what's going on...
Ingress portal notices is going into the right mail address.
Attack notification are going to the to the wrong mail account.
It's a total mess...
One month since the beginning of this incident and the emails are still being sent to the secondary, incorrect email box and not the correct one.
Bringing spam difficulties in this secondary email, where I only receive important emails.
We need this to be fixed please.
@NianticBrian @NianticVK not sure if you guys saw this thread until now, but Since over a month Notifications are send to wrong email accounts.
@NianticVK @NianticThia @NianticOfficial @NianticCasey @NianticBrian does Niantic need to be flagged for breach of GDPR until someone reacts to this post?
You should be able to fix this by unlinking and then relinking the login method (ex. Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Facebook, Sign in with Google) or email address that you want Niantic emails sent to.
Ingress emails are now piped through your Niantic Account used across Niantic games. The most recent or last login method that was linked to your Niantic Account, regardless of what game you used to link the login method to your Niantic Account, is what your Niantic Account will use to send Niantic emails, like Ingress notifications.
I just tried through Facebook, removing Google, reattaching Google, and then removing Facebook. Email still went to the one linked to Facebook.
Additional information I can provide:
I don't have a Facebook account which I could use for it and not planning to create one.
This should be fixed from Niantic not from the users.
I never asked to get game notification to account which is my Niantic account. Also I should have 1 account with 2 mails since I used both... I was never asked which should be my main account or if I want to merge or split them. Maybe there is a reason why I used 2 different google accounts.
So lease fix that.
