Greetings from Singapore :}
Happy Valentine's day πΉ
#IngressValentines
And we can't share.Β Before this event, at least a guard field could be hung up, and all cross-links under it could already be destroyed, and with the start of the event, spoofers can now link under the fields.
I created some nice green slime with this snail today. Not especially Valentine's, but it was the event that got me motivated to go out and do it.
What is love
Ingress don't hurt me
Don't hurt me

I plan to do this π tomorrow for #Valentines... π€―π fingers crossed i can get more #xfac agents involved!! Not having much luck yet...
Love an xFac #community but so much conflict [Blue vs. Green=#Ingress] here π

π Happy St. Valentines Day 2022 from Hamburg, Germany! π
This field art is still live, so if you want to have a look at it yourself, the link to the portal at the base of the heart is here:
https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=53.569555,10.009991&z=14&pll=53.569555,10.009991
This was my first attempt at field art, something I've been wanting to do forever and finally felt inspired to try after reading Niantic Official's news post last week asking the global community to send in love-inspired field art tagged with #IngressValentines.Β
So, some numbers and statistics:
The heart contains 94 portals and took me a total of 7 hours and 5 minutes to complete.
I started at 10:24 a.m. on an unusually beautiful and sunny Saturday morning at a wintry 4β (39β) on the east side of the Alster. I claimed the first portal and then jogged clockwise to the south. Once I arrived at the bulk of the portals on the northwestern side of the Alster, running became more of a fast walk.Β
After 3 hours and 47 minutes and covering 13 kilometers (8 miles), I had only gotten half of the heart drawn, so I took a 90 minute break to shower, have lunch and call a friend with a car. I replanned, skipping out some of the portals in the middle of the heart, concentrating only on the outline. Luckily, I only had to use 3 viruses to clean up the blocking links, had a small battle with a player over three of the portals, and was able to complete the second half of the he(art) in just under 2 hours.
The heart has been up for more than 24 hours! I'm curious what will happen Monday morning when everyone is playing on their commute to work. If it's the player with whom I regularly battle over the Alster, I am prepared and I already know what I will write in the all faction comm: "agagaman, you broke my heart!" π
Made this diamond for my girl, who also plays ingress on and off just not as much as I. Not incredibly detailed, but I think the look passes lol.

Here's my contribution - and first time doing field art. I can't take the credit for the draw though. Mine would have been much worse (and smaller lol)
My wife and I both have an agent name that ends in 117. We also live in an area covered by a perma-field, so we took the opportunity to finally engage in some field art! Here's the field art we created for each other on Valentine's Day.
