Add a new Chat category "Feature Request" and have a similar voting system as "Report a Bug"

Now feature requests are mainly added to General category.
Having a voting system similar to "Report a Bug" category helps to identify easier how popular a new feature request is.

I know it's not a popular opinion, but Niantic isn't a democracy, and "Design by vote" rarely goes well. Offering a possibility of voting implies that they are bound to follow it, which would set up another "You never listen" narrative.
Right now, Like/Insightful/Disagree, as well as the comments on threads in the General forum successfully capture the mood and opinions of the players on new ideas.
Im wondering if my question should be a feature request or a bug report.. it would be most helpful to be able to follow the same reporting mechanism for each.
Niantic could get a better understanding of what agents want with a list of most requested features. I don't know how a democracy falls into this when it's a community wishing for something and Niantic can centralized communication on explaining the feasibility of such a feature.
