What’s New
• The Layers button now remembers your selected Layer, even after restarting the Ingress app.
• We now show individual AP updates rather than bundled AP updates to better show earned AP, like +500AP for capturing a Portal and +250AP for fully capping it, on top of the +125AP for each Resonator deployed.
• On iOS, we updated our minimum requirements to iOS 12.2 and above because of requirements from other game components. (This doesn’t affect Android.)
Bug Fixes
• Fixed: Battle Beacons can be deployed even if the Agent has existing Portal Mods on the Target Portal.
• Fixed: On Android, tapping the Back button when the Layers drop-down menu is open will close the Layers menu.
• Fixed: Tapping a Field Trip waypoint from an active mission while in Drone Footage View no longer causes a softlock.

Patch notes say Battle Beacons can be deployed if the Agent has existing Portal Mods on the Target Portal. Does that mean that if there are some other's mods it still won't work, or this is fixed too? Is Beacon/Firework/Fracker interaction fixed too (currently you can't place one over the other while you should be able to)?

@1valdis one of the issues you helped us identify was that Battle Beacons weren't working if the deploying Agent also had a Portal Mod deployed on the Target Portal, and that specific bug should now be fixed server-side even if you're on Ingress 2.66.2. However, this is a separate bug from Battle Beacons being unable to deploy when Fireworks are active on a Portal, where the client displays the

toast. We're still investigating that one.@1valdis and more specifically to your question, yes you should be able to deploy the Battle Beacon on a Target Portal even if it has Portal Mods from another Agent.
Any more work to have modern Exynos SoCs supported to run Ingress at 60FPS?
I have had my S21 Ultra where Ingress has glitched a couple of times into enabling the 60FPS mode, in the previous version
It made so much of a difference, with negligible hit on the battery

There's nothing that says they will add it. "Investigate the possibility" != "actually implement and release".
Hope 2.67 can give us lots of new avatars in store. I never need bad medals in store I never spend time watching on. Get very long time now without new avatars in store.
So..... your going to keep asking over and over again on every relase feed until they give in and say nope, not going to happen, rather than, wait and see if they manage in implement it.......

Is it server-side or 2.67.1 feature that glyph-hacking of opposite faction Portal now gives not whole ap gain but two numbers... for example if gained 428AP - it shows 100AP(because of opposition portal) and eg 328AP just after.
I updated the release notes to clarify a change to individual AP updates is working as designed:
• We now show individual AP updates rather than bundled AP updates to better show earned AP, like +500AP for capturing a Portal and +250AP for fully capping it, on top of the +125AP for each Resonator deployed.
It looks like the COMM scrolling has been fixed satisfactorily, for me.
It begins at the bottom, and when you're scrolled halfway up, it doesn't jump down to the bottom as new items come in.

Oh, different COMM bug. I was looking at the original bug that's been an issue since Prime Beta, in terms of scrolling and new events.

That is, if I destroy a portal with a huge number of fields, then I will see a huge number of messages about destroyed fields and links, instead of 52764ap for example?

that's not split for some reason. glyph hacking an enemy portal displays 100 + glyph bonus though
