Chiang Mai Hexathlon, will it be hosted as usual?

Hexathlon event in Okinawa was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Since COVID-19 has spreaded across east Asia, I wonder will the Hexathlon event in Chiang Mai be cancelled as well? We need to plan our travel in advance, thank you:)

While I personally would like to attend Hexathlon this time in Asia, the current situation of COVID-19 spread really makes me worried and people gathering together may be risky. Some members in my community are also thinking so.

Please, Niantic, look at this issue and inform us if any further action will be taken or it will be cancelled/postponed.

* PS: Thailand is Southeast Asia :)

Chiangmai Hexathlon will be hosted as usual. The total number of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Thailand is unchanged at 35 for a while and much less in Chiangmai. However, we still aware and monitor corona virus situation on every major cities in Thailand.
