[Bug Resolved] Approved Wayspots not imported into Niantic games

Hi folks,
Firstly, thanks to everyone who raised their concerns to us about Wayspot approvals from Niantic Wayfarer failing to appear in Niantic games.
I'm happy to let you know that we’ve resolved this issue and approved Wayspots are currently populating in our games. We’re also improving our systems for us to better monitor Wayfarer to prevent this from happening in the future. Finally, we’re working backward to ensure that any previously approved Wayspots are also transferred into the game maps. This backlog should be processed by the end of the week.
Our team appreciates your patience while we were investigating this issue and a very sincere apology for the inconvenience.

Is this also a sign that the stop on approved portals is over, or was this a separate issue?
Ingress is a Niantic game, and is covered by "failing to appear in Niantic games."
@NianticCasey Thanks for the update. This sort of transparency is greatly appreciated.
@NianticCasey Thank you for the update and communication.
There is a difference between approved portals not appearing in the game and portals not getting through the approval process
If you're an Ingress player, portals being approved and appearing on the map are the same thing. It's only the other games that "import" from the set Ingress uses.
And since this isn't a PoGo forum...
EDIT: With a caveat for "Too close"
I think you are missing the essence of the question and I know you are trying to help. On top of an issue with approved portals not appearing in their games, there is a second issue where nothing is being approved through Wayfarer. Because the first issue was the only one addressed in this post, I was asking if the second issue was also resolved or if it is still something they are dealing with. There have been multiple posts here and on Reddit about zero new portals going live since the new year because they are not going to approved status on Wayfarer
I understand the question.
The point you're missing is that it's the same thing. There is a process that stalled. That process' job is to look at a candidate once it reaches a threshold, make a decision and then place that candidate into the POI database and queue a confirmatory email, or not place it into the database and queue a rejection email.
There was never a bug about portals not appearing on the map even if they're in the POI database. The process that evaluates portals broke and was only just restarted.
Perhaps it was the 12 hour work day today, or the way it was worded, but I interpreted the message to mean there were POIs approved that for some reason hadn't appeared in the games, rather than that they had resolved the issue of recently voted nominations never actually reaching approval status through Wayfarer.
No, the process that does the evaluation broke in a way they hadn't expected, and it was hung until the Dev got back from holidays. Nothing got to the POI database.
Could have been something minor like using the ISO year instead of the calander year somewhere. Caused a bug that caused a thing to crash until a dev could come back and figure out what went wrong so it could be fixed.
In terms of our own knowledge of the reason, it's largely irrelevant. The process crashed in an unexpected way, the dev came back and fixed it, and I assume added monitoring for that possibility.
Situation fixed, forward we go.
Are all game having the same ratio of waypoint now? You should do it. Probably the only way to avoid abuse of location edit.
@NianticCasey Thank you for your update on this! However, this is still happening. I had a portal go live today, it is in Ingress but it is not in the other two games. It is called Motown Mural.

Ingress always gets them first, as soon as they are approved. The other games sync up later, usually once a day at about 6:45pm GMT.
It has over 24 hours since it was approved and it has not appeared in the other games, so it has gone through a sync up period. @NianticCasey @NianticBrian
Wait one more day before starting complaining. Depending of the time it got approved, its gonna show up in the next sync.
And yours is probably never gonna show up in the others games because it's to close to other portal, might be in the same s17 cell.
If you mean at this location: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=42.364543,-83.088237&z=18
I can't see any Ingress portal there. Maybe it got removed and that's why it never transferred over.

It looks like it already got moved...
Thats gonna create a new Gym when they are sync.
I gave the wrong link, intel map failed me when I went for the permalink. It will appear in game because it is not close to the other portals at all. It is in it's accurate location a few doors down.
It wasnt moved, I had an intel map fail when I tried to get the permalink for the portal. It has never been moved. It is in the correct location.
Should come live with the next sync
hello i received this email on 19th November 2019 and it still does not appear in any game or on maps (intel)
Hi Trainer TieFighterJM,
Thank you for nominating freedom from polio garden on Nov 16, 2019. We are pleased to inform you that this is an eligible nomination!
Please keep in mind that not all eligible PokéStop nominations are able to appear live in Pokémon GO, depending on proximity to other PokéStops; however, they may appear in other Niantic games. If you have any questions, please head over to our Help Center for additional information.
– The Pokémon GO Team
freedom from polio garden
in 1979 rotary international launched year of the child campaign to eradicate polio from the world this garden was created for that purpose

Pokemon GO submissions don't tell you when it was rejected because of the 20 meter rule. It just tells you it's eligible. So it's probably that.
Even if you placed it farther away than 20m from any other wayspot it can still be moved by reviewers.
Is this thread still being responded to?
I want to know if all AGREEMENTS we got during the blackout phase was reflected in our Wayfarer?
I believe they have not, but of course I have no proof and Niantic will surely deny it was ever an issue.
During that phase, I would review dozens and it would barely tick up. Maybe 5% if I was lucky compared to before and now when the agreements keep coming in.
I bet they are lost though, which is a joke.
People on Reddit were talking about their agreements going up during that time so it was working for people.
I had a portal "approved" on Dec. 28 that still hasn't made it into Ingress (I know not about any other games), so as far as I am concerned this bug has not actually been resolved. I'd give you the Intel position, but of course, Wayfarer no longer gives you Intel coordinates... Its lat/long should be at approximately 34.9707,135.3798.
(Edit - no key of issued, and I assume I didn't get any AP, not that I care about that.)
Here's the main body of the e-mail:
Portal review complete: 大日堂(大原野堂坂)
Good work, Agent: your submission has been accepted, and this Portal is now available on your Scanner and on the Intel Map. You have been awarded 1,000 AP as well as this Portal’s Key for your discovery.

I see that your portal is online: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=34.912685,135.303080&z=15&pll=34.912685,135.303080
would it appear in intel maps?
