It will be interesting to see how this turns out.
In the rules it is stated that:
Agents are encouraged to only vote for predictions associated with their Faction, but in practice, Agents can vote for any of the options.
This is the first time a faction is coordinating a massive upvote for an option in the opposite factions poll in order to change the outcome. This opens up the tactic for use by the other faction as well.
To those participating in the opposite factions upvote: I understand you feel cheated out of the G06 choice. While your reply was first, it was missing the required quote of the Truthseekers verification message, and thus didn't count (as stated by Truthseeker himself). If you feel this is unfair please use the feedback section of the community forums to voice your opinion or make a suggestion. There was no counter-voting in round 1. There is a clear difference between the coordinated effort that's happening here, compared to the few votes that have been cast in the example you linked. If you look more closely at the example you can see that only a few RES have voted in that poll. And that the votes they have casted go for both options about equally.
To clarify: Are you hinting that the actions that are happening here are to be seen as an answer for the suspected swinging of votes of the round 1 example, along with the disappointed of not securing the G06 choice for your own faction?
Everybody can see what you voted for. They can read the verification post and the responses that followed, confirming that your faction has put forward the G06 prediction but didn't get it assigned due to a small oversight. Are you telling us that all this effort is happening to disallow the other faction to gain one point, thereby increasing the lead Nemesis has by two points?
We should be focussing on taking out Nemesis, not each other.
Not all profile images chosen by Agents reflect their Faction.
Every Agent is free to vote for whichever option they choose to as per the system the NIA have deployed.
I wouldn't suppose or assume to speak for other Agents in this regard so can't really comment more on this subject.
An enl vanguard countervoting res votes? Great. We now know who *not* to rely on to ease xf tensions.
