My first time running a First Saturday event, and I have some ideas of what to do better next time. Having these forums available is going to be part of that, as I'll direct people to a post here instead of a Telegram group.
Overall, I think the event went pretty well, even though it started off and ended in a park instead of a restaurant or pub. (I looked at places to do that, they looked either too small to host, or said "no thanks" when I asked about it).

I hope to run another one in two or three months, in Olympia, Washington! Hopefully by then I'll have "been around long enough" that I can actually post links.

I really liked that there was a telegram group associated with this FS.
I don't think starting/ending in a park is a problem, unless it were pouring with rain and there was no cover, of course.
But of course using these forums could be an alternative next time .. more people may communicate that way. Either way, having a place to chat about a FS is good :)
I'd be keeping the TG group, but a post here would be the landing for it, since everyone would already have an account.
