Voices/Sounds from the portals

So I’m remote recharging portals and I stayed on one and I started hearing new sounds that I never heard before. Switched to another and it sounded like Jarvis’ voice from the Portal Network from the videos in the past. Anyone confirm you hear this or explain?

What level was the portal? The voices become clearer as the portal level increases. At level 8 I can clearly hear what is being said. Don't understand it, but can clearly hear it ;-)
I also get this when visiting or recharging a level 8 portal.
Makes me wonder, what if one manages to get one of those red pylon-to-the-sky portals all the way to level 8, would that unlock something?
"Red pylon to the sky" portals are just portals where a fracker got stuck.
I have since learned. But the audio is real, I hope it's not just just for ooohs and aaahs. Is this new or has lv 8 portals always done this? I don't know, I came across my very first lv 8 portal this week.

This is exactly what i was looking for! Makes me wonder what other secrets are lurking in the portal network.
I got a very odd glyph sequence - "Persue 1 3 3 1", the 1's were the 2 dots left of center, and the 3's were basically backwards sigmas as glyphs. "Persue" is, of course, a normal glyph. I've never seen either of those glyphs before, much less that sequence. Interestingly, the portal I got this sequence on was one that was broadcasting the Jarvis audio linked above. I tried using those glyphs on the command channel side of the glyph hack, but nothing happened.
The question is, have these audio files been around for years, and basically just exist to explain what exactly JARVIS and ADA are, or is this a relatively recent thing that we can piece together with other clues?
