The nature of Simulacra (invisibility???)

If XM is invisible to the **** eye and Simulacra are made exclussively of xm, are they invisible then?
If so, maybe Hank was run over because the driver LITERALLY didn't see him.

That is something of an interesting thought to pursue - and goes back to once again what is XM - I suppose we invoke E=mC2 and say there is something that is allowing the conversion of XM to Matter - assuming XM is a "part" of the EM spectrum.
I think you may be putting a little too much thought into this.
Our human senses - as advanced as they might seem - are flawed in every sense. We're only able to perceive what we labeled as "visible light"... ultra-violet is invisible to us. So there isn't even a need to explain xm as a different form of matter, simply as one that doesn't interact (reflection, refraction) with visible light.
@Brit0martis you can never put too much thought into an investigation rabbithole 😃
But I walk through an area that my scanner says is littered with XM and I feel nothing, I walk into a simulacrum and I will fall down :)
But your scanner also can't even detect simulacra even though they've been confirmed to are made from xm.
Which is why I would say there is some sort of "change" between the XM in the scanner and a simulacrum
XM effects the mind. Sight is almost entirely constructed in the mind. The Simulacrum exists in the mind of the perceiver. Therefore, XM can make things seen without being visible.
Thats a interesting thought! I have another thought about simulacra and I hope it fits here.
As we all know, the simulacra are made of Dark XM, and we all know that Dark XM is extremely dangerous for a human being as we see in the anime.
My question is:
Are there any known sideeffects if a normal person interacts with a simulacra?
I am not certain if we have documented any
a simulacra is also made of DXM, not just XM, that may affect its properties, including visibility
Ok my guess would be the reason you cannot pick up a simulacrum on the scanner is that the scanner is not tuned to pick up that type of xm. There are all kinds of xm, normal, chaotic, dark... Possibly more.
Who knows the full nature of xm? Free xm you find with the scanner may be the only type invisible to humans. At least to those who are not xm sensitive.
@docwho2100
Then don't walk into them :) (i will remember to not walk into you if i see you)
I know 1218 Devra and Oliver Lynton-Wolfe had the d
