Introduce myself - A looser of Osiris sequence
Allow me to introduce myself:
I participated Mar-2018 XM Festival at Fukuoka, Japan and won the battle.
I participated Jul-2018 XM Anomaly - Cassandra Prime at Sapporo, Japan and won the battle.
I participated Oct-2018 XM Anomaly - Recursion Prime at Taichung, Taiwan and won the battle.
I participated Mar-2019 XM Anomaly - Darsana Prime at Tokyo, Japan and won the battle.
I participated May-2019 XM Anomaly - Abaddon Prime at Kaohsiung, Taiwan and won the battle.
And I am a looser of Osiris sequence by .the definition of game rule.
What a wonderful game!

One bus to win them all, one bus to move them.
One bus to bring them all and in Chicago help them.
@yinchao I think you misunderstand that game completely.
In the same way you did not win any of the battle you named you did not loose the series. Your faction did both.
Ingress is all about team.
What a wonderful game!
You're complaining because you lost one single series. Big deal.
I don't know how old you are, but back in the old days of Ingress (think Minotaur, Cassandra, 13magnus), it was resistance who was getting beat out every anomaly series.. I remember winning Milwaukee Obsidian in a total blowout, and then losing the whole series because Orlando went south.
It's a competitive game. Sometimes you lose.
Fev Games has a page on Anomaly which includes a list of historical series winners. According to their records, the historical outcome has been quite even for both factions. We have seen straight ENL and straight RES victory eras. After the straight ENL wins from Via Noir to Cassandra Prime, there's nothing out of the ordinary about the RES making a comeback in the recent series.
To make you feel better, the victory badge is ugly as hell and there's no option to hide it. You should be glad you dodged a real bullet there.

"Resistance participation badge" 😀
Well we can't always win so it's not a big deal.
Enl have been winning series since Obisidian in April 2016. Prior to that, it was Res for a few years. It happens. Gotta suck it up, buttercup.
I would think of it this way:
In many sports, it's very possible to have more wins than another team, then still lose in the final series.
It's also possible to score more points total on average, and still lose in the final series (think of something like US basketball).
Over the series, you could probably argue more things should have matter and others couldn't, but this is what the rules said were the victory conditions. I mean, our team even said "All Roads Lead to Chicago", and they were absolutely spot on correct.
Anomalies today are still nothing like the old days, when people had to go on adventures and try to field sites or score global or regional shards *at the same time* as running an event in a city.
The best lesson from any loss (or even any win) is that it is a learning opportunity on what we can do better next time.
