IngressFS: public announcement rules

Some of us older orga's have always used G+ for events, as we don't (want to) use Farcebook.

Is it acceptable/sufficient to publish the event in this community, and use the link to the thread as announcement for FevGames?

This would avoid us having to use multiple platforms anyway.

    Every event has a public page on FevGames that has space for organisers to list all the event details (using the registration form) and allow attendees to RSVP.

    We'll be adding more features to it soon like event results.

    I've always wondered why Niantic promotes First Saturdays but contracts all the promotion and organization out to Fev Games.

    FS is a grassroots community organised event run completely by volunteers from FevGames, the IFS-UN and agents from around the world
