Umbra Reg, paid tickets/scoring and what does this mean to gameplay?

My 5 cents:

To get the badge AND score points for your faction you will need a paid ticket for Umbra Ano. I do not like the timing of NIA for this news, but that's life.

What happens to a team of Ano players that is 100% non-paying? Are they practically ballast? Finally they prevent paying players from earning points. Maybe this will make this faction loosing the total Ano.

Who will check this onsite and during Ano?

Do we get a two-class society?

  • Maybe I'm having a dumb day, but I can't quite work it out either.

How are they going to stop non paying players bursters from doing anything? Or non payers from throwing strategic links? Or will your scanner basically become dead in or around the playbox unless you've splashed the cash?

  • Right now i think there is no way to stop non-paying players. But their actions will affect the gameplay. That could be game crucial.

I'm waiting for the new ano rules.😂 Maybe there is a Code of conduct 😎

It is the same as with the previous anomalies: Only registered agents are counted for things like the unique hack challenge and artifact collection.

  • Ah, that makes sense, thanks NineBerry

(I'd quote or at least @ you in the reply, but but apparently I have to be around for a little longer before I can post links. The link in question being to your comment or to wherever an @ mention goes. Stupid software is stupid!)

Since the update message about ticketing for the anomaly speaks of leader boards, I think it is highly likely that the anomaly will have something similar to what we have seen at the field tests yesterday. Maybe some anomaly points for factions will be appointed based on what percentage of highest ranking agents in these leader boards are resistance/enlightened. This would then also only count registered agents.

Unregistered agents can still help score things like shard capturing, longest link path or similar things.
