When a friend pinged me this morning I was fairly certain that it was an April Fools joke, but I looked and it was actually there.
OK, it's math o'clock.
126 Apex = 42 kcaps at 3 uses each. Kcaps are about a buck each, ignoring the permanent one and the ones that come with C.O.R.E. Let's assume I'm running six in parallel and using the permanent one for someone else, so that would be 21 cycles times 8km for 168 km walked. I'll end up with 2520 R8 to recycle.
TAKE MY MONEY!
The only thing that would make me happier is if it was X8s.
If I could buy beacons in batches larger than three then I would seriously spend a hundred bucks on CMU, buy beacons with it, and spew them all over creation to thank Niantic for doing this.
@PkmnTrainerJ Oh, nice! I forgot about that. That's only 20 rounds of the purchase cycle rather than 154. The animations are still slow but it's way better than three at a time. The price per beacon is also higher but that means I spend less time using them. Your suggestion has saved me time in two different ways, thank you.

Wouldn't it be better though if you could recycle one premium item into another? Apex→KC for example.
