Overclock relies on AR/scan data to place the glyphs so that you can move around and "interact" with them by moving around in the real world. It wouldn't make sense to overclock remotely, since your phone would be scanning data from your remote location, for which there is likely no scan data to create a 3D "map" of the environment (which is based on the multiple previous scans that were required to enable overclock in the first place).

Drone glyphing is already in the game which offers a lot of gear.
Expecting to use it for Overclocking doesn't fit with the idea of getting outside and playing the game.
How is glyphing from Drone difrent than in-person glyph??? 🤔
Not sure how you can film and localize from a Drone or why....
Overclock is for an in person action. Similar to deploying/linking/fielding. It doesn't make any sense to have an overclock function for the Drone.
