Account suspended next day installation but couldn't get any supportive information from Niantic

I bought new iPhone last weekend, installed Ingress and PoGo, created account the same day and I got 1st strike on next day. I checked all my phone application and setting, I logged in again yesterday and it shows my account has been suspended by my 3rd party tool. I do not have any. I didn't understand why it happened and requested account review then NIA replied only Player Guideline site link.

Then I sent movie showing my application list l have installed and Ingress login action to get further information what to be checked then they replied,

"We apologize for the earlier response. As mentioned in our previous response, our decision to temporarily suspend your account is final. We cannot provide any additional support regarding this account."

Many of my friends got the same situation this year.

E-mail above does not help anything for Ingress beginners. Because support center does not support and help center does not provide any help, my account was born to die only after account creation completed. Hope NIA write more clearly and specifically on help page and let support member's action more infomative if they alive.

    I suspect this is because your Niantic ID that you use for Wayfarer is also linked to your Ingress account (and possibly Pogo)

  • That is the same trouble I got this week. I have never installed any wierd application but my Ingress account is under suspension...

    So, the temporary ban is more likely because of the Niantic ID linked to other game accounts, or is it because of the new phones and the factory applications that came with it???

  • If you're found making abusive nominations or edits in any game, your Niantic account is suspended (or lost) in all games. So if your PokeMonGo account was dinged for bad nominating - it would affect your Ingress account, even if it's not high enough to nominate.

    The Wayfarer strikes are usually temporary. But if you delete ANY Niantic account - your Wayfarer account is permanently deleted as well. (This was considered a bug for years, until Niantic finally reclassified it as "Working as intended".) I suggest leaving your account undeleted - you never know what the future holds.

    Also, Niantic doesn't allow jailbreak phones. Or apps that can be used to spoof your location.

    My phone is brand new without any specal settings, no jailbreak, and no GPS application. Thats why I am really getting annoying. I shouldn't have installed such dangerous application...

    Wow is the bug on Wayfarer still remain??? I saw that discussion 3 years ago. Thats for your advise.

    I have found that one of iphone new feature default setting caused 1st strike and solved by configuration. You above need to continue self investigation until penalty is over but I also hope Niantic review their investigation method to follow new technology innovated day by day.
