Game errors causing Ingress to excessively lag

Issue:
Since the server update on the 12th of February 2024, the game begins to lag after 15 minutes when using the Drone or remote viewing portals.
By 30 minutes in, this lag causes the entire game to lag, to such an extent that the game is unresponsive, and requires to be forced closed.
Prior to that server update, the lag was normal and could play for hours without needed to restart the game.
It is highly repeatable, and when viewing the logs, appears the game's cache is full of errors causing the game to be unresponsive.
Had expected a hot fix for the server to have been out prior to the Anomalies in Adelaide and Santiago.
Every single player had issues with the game becoming unresponsive during the Anomaly in Adelaide.
While this likely may not have been a deciding factor for the Resistance loss in Adelaide, it would have been a contributing factor.

Wouldn't the bug have affected all agents on both sides equally?
It did, as I stated.
May have been a contributing to the Resistance loss, ie assuming there were equal number of ENL or Res players it wouldn't have been a problem, however it was far from a 50/50 split in player numbers.
This is not a complaint about losing! Just an observation.
