New Bounties not showing up

App: 2.134.1

OS: Android 14

Device: Galaxy S21 Ultra Exynos 2100 (yeah I know it is really old by today's mobiles)

Issue:

After the timer reaches zero a new set of Daily Bounties should come up.

Any actions that you did that would have made it to the new set of Bounties do not count.

Here I woke up in the middle of the night to recharge my portals that had been attacked over night, checked the Bounties and it was showing no new Bounties

Restarted the app

Noticed that the Recharge Bounty was not counted even though recharging was done.

    So what I still use S10e and have no plans to get rid of it.

    (And yes, bounties don't refresh)

    I am having the same issue and I have a Pixel 6 and an iPhone XS Max. Bounties did not reset. Then it told me I had 6 but I couldn't see them. Then it finally refreshed but I can't get credit for them no matter how many times I do the actions (drone hack, glyph, recharge). My 4th task is to do a mission, I have not tried that one yet. Restarted game many times, even completely reinstalled. After reinstall the "you have new bounties" message showed up again, but I still can't make progress on any of them.

    I can now tell you what happens if you don't finish all the bounties by midnight. Let's say there is a task to capture two portals, but RL commitments mean that you are not passing by any grey portals today. The next day, because the bounties haven't refreshed, this task is still active. You go and capture two portals, and the progress bar pops up and says the task has been completed. So you go to the bounties screen and press "Claim", and it doesn't work. The button goes dark and stays dark, or nothing at all happens when you repeatedly press the claim button. You have to force-stop and restart the app to get today's new bounties. (Any actions previously carried out today do not count towards the new bounties.)

    I experience the same. Using iPhone, Ingress v2.134.1. RESYNC doesn't work. Only workaround is to restart app.

    I generally don't need to restart the app outside of updates (on Android at least; interacting with the drone probably helps to keep the app running in the background), so I keep finding that none of my actions are counting towards the current day's bounties because they never load in at the start of the day. The "new bounties available" message also doesn't show until it syncs up post-restart, so there's no in-app hint that I need to restart the app in order to get the next day's bounties.

    It would be useful to know what the Resync button is intended to do, as currently I've yet to get it to do anything.

    I sometimes have to time my claims carefully because of bumping up against the inventory limit. This thing of giving me a bunch of L7 gear that I will instantly recycle doesn't really always work for me.

    Anyway, I did all four bounties but forgot to claim them before I put my phone down. Some time later I picked it up, went to the bounties screen, pressed the CLAIM ALL button... and it didn't work. It was ONE MINUTE PAST MIDNIGHT. I was gutted. So this means that even though I did the bounties they won't show up in my stats.

    So the way I think it should work is this:

    If you have claimed all four bounties then it should automatically refresh at midnight.

    Otherwise, any bounties that you have not done should be visibly locked at midnight. If there are bounties that were completed before midnight but not claimed, then it should be possible to claim them after midnight. It should no longer be possible to complete locked bounties.

    If you have finished claiming yesterday's bounties, or you decide you don't want to, tapping the RESYNC button should discard them and load today's bounties.

    Optionally: after all possible rewards have been claimed, if it is now after midnight then the bounties should automatically refresh (after a short delay).

    Optionally: if none of the bounties have been completed by midnight then it should automatically refresh at that time.

    For me this seems to be working correctly now.

    Today at 00:00 when the timer reached zero new Daily Bounties did come up.

    There was also quite a cool looking animation showing Bounties change, never seen that before.


    Not sure if the fix was included in version 2.135.1 that I downloaded couple of days ago or if NIA did something in server side.

    I'm also on 2.135.1 but I'm still not seeing my bounties refresh (9am here and they're still stuck on yesterday's completed ones), so maybe there's a server-side change rolling out, or do you actually have to have the screen open at exactly midnight for it to work?

    Today’s bounties aren’t refreshing when the actions are completed. The AP bonuses at the top aren’t triggering either. iPhone 11 Pro, latest OS and Ingress client.
