Joe could have gotten almost 74 2L bottles of Dr. Pepper with that at my local Walmart. Still wouldn't trade it for my Core though. I like the perks and I believe in supporting the game since it gives me entertainment every single time I open the app. Joe probably feels the same way about this forum. To each, his own.
@IcyBlueHeart , went for the Core because we didn't have access to a local farm back then, and we didn't have access to a trustworthy Community. Also, got extra storage to get souvenirs from memorable places because of Core :)

We the Ingress Founders Union strongly disagree with the C.O.R.E year three badge. We think it is unfair that those who pay for C.O.R.E get a badge that we - The Ingress Founders Union - don't receive for our refusal to pay for C.O.R.E, nor our tiresome moaning about every new feature in Ingress since 2012.
We strongly urge NIA to remove this badge and C.O.R.E with immediate effect.

Remark kept bugging me, and then I realized what is wrong. Joe, that's the cost of a one year badge, it's three times that for this badge. And still worth every penny. Aside from the 500 inventory boost I really like the Inventory function you gain. Just knowing where every key is, is worth it when you have keys in 6 lockers plus keys in other caps.

Got mine as well. I think they did a really nice job on the design.
Got mine too, nice design
$198 badge, congrats all.
And worth every single penny. Still have ideas for a Core Level 2.
Thanks for doing the math. I knew you were clutching your pearls about it.

I don't know about the design, though; it looks like it's inspired by Dunkin Donuts with too much icing....Where's the coffee????
Ah yes, the whale medal 😅

OK that's hilarious, we might use that. Might.

You really took the bait and badly at that.
Lol, that is certainly one way of looking at it.
IFU rarely pays rent.
OK I'll take the bait better. The first three years of C.O.R.E cost $194.64. That's 31 months at $4.99, and 5 months at $7.99.
And gave countless hours of enjoyment, excitement, satisfaction.
Rent is ridiculous these days
Obligatory "Americans will use anything but the metric system" comment goes here 😆
Last time I checked 2L (liter) was a metric measure.
@FeatherCuffs rebuttal?
