Using of third party software. I'm done!

I read in a previous post that there are softwares that do the job of reloading, although it was not taken into account... recently I ran into some agents of the faction against whatever time it is... I can't throw any portal at them. .. at least I spent 100 xmp to try to destroy it and nothing... even so the portal does not have mods... I passed a report but there is no support. It doesn't seem fair to me that cheaters play quietly while legal players struggle.

I leave evidence of the cheaters

I've done a lot of portal combat including a lot against people who were recharging aggressively against me and I'm fairly adept at thwarting their efforts to stop me. Based on my experience the video you posted could easily have been one individual recharging against you. I'm not going to provide tips for attacking more effectively, though... you'll have to work those out on your own or learn from your teammates.

I do strongly suspect that some people have recharge bots, though, based on my experiences. The pattern that I've seen is that I can attack pretty effectively for a while, with what feels like one person recharging on me, and then all of a sudden I'm facing self-healing portals... at 3 a.m. Maybe my local opponents wake each other up in the middle of the night to mass-recharge but the sudden overwhelming strength of the response feels more robotic to me.

And if you are still having issues, and have the ultras, you can use them against individual resonators.

I had a player come through and he was fracking portals before he hit to reduce their charge.

  • It is precisely our problem, in the video it is not fully appreciated, but if it is very suspicious that the reloads are automatic when a portal is attacked, it is impossible that as soon as you attack the enemy's portals are automatically reloaded.

@invazorZim Was your approach 'noisy' at all? If you let people know you're in the area, they will surmise where you're going. Also keep in mind that when you pick off half the portal's resonators, the other half will be easier to recharge (needing less XM, so no reason to pop in a cube now and then).

The video looks perfectly fine, could be only one recharger even.

Standing on the resonator does more damage than at the portal center

Battle recharging is a thing and legitimate people can be very fast at it.

@invazorZim You were attacking pretty slowly and ineffectively, IMO. Once someone is recharging against you what I saw in the video looked pretty reasonable, and I've been able to recharge that effectively against an attacker.

Today most have alot of cubes to burn and if u can make someone waste xmps then why not? From the looks of video i saw nothing strange if its legit there are agents that like to defend very hard even if the portal didnt hold many links and u get ap for recharging so its motivating also.

    The game favors rechargers.

The recharger gets AP. The attacker gets none, unless they knock a reso or mod off.

The recharger uses cubes, which are overly abundant. The attacker uses high level bursters, ultra strikes and cubes.

The recharger can play from home on wifi. The attacker often traveled and/or has low signal.

It tilts the game in favor of the dominant faction.
