Ingress Origins Deckbox Delay
I get this is more a Niantic Supply issue but they have no forum, so is anyone else still waiting on this?
I've asked support twice now and they're still waiting on it to be fixed by the supplier.
Surely at this point it would be best to send the regular kit, and then the deckbox when it eventually gets made?
Although I'm not sure how great it will really be if its made of paper and not plastic as i expected.

I understand anything post Thanksgiving (in the US, last week of November) is a crapshoot for guaranteed shipping but from what I remember, they tried to avoid this issue...which happened regardless. It's crazy they didn't separate the box as its own shipment and made people wait for the last kit, it has to be more than Shopify involved with this crazy case.
Im used to waiting an entire month to receive my order, people in the US recieve the next months kit just as i get the previous one, but this is just silly :S
They shipped mine to an old address that I removed from their system (2 months before they shipped it out). It never made it to me. Old building was closed, so it shouldn't of even been delivered. They finally shipped a replacement, which didn't have my IGN on them. Great waste of money from my perspective. The boxes that they did send (I had doubled my subscription order) were cheaply made and looked nothing like their initial images of it.
I can't even tell you where those crappy boxes are at currently. I took 'em home. Bio Cards, loadout cards ect are all in nice plastic containers that I used to keep baseball cards in.
Pretty crappy experience overall. Their customer support is lacking in general based on previous issues I had with them. I still don't understand why they send out tracking information to the customer after the item has already been or attempted to be delivered. Learning curve maybe?
I am also awaiting receipt of both the Kit and the personalized box for the Origin subscription. To this day I still have no idea when they will send it to me, even though I have contacted Niantic Supply support on several occasions via email, the answer is that they are still waiting to receive products to be able to ship, and we are already in February...
I really just want the final kit :\
It has been over three months now since the kits were supposed to go out with no official heads up from Niantic Supply unless you emailed them directly. For someone who didn't, they would have no idea why the last kit never arrived, how long it'll take until it finally gets send out or what they can do in terms of potentially canceling the order, they just see a charge on their card with no product to show for it. A three months, no communication delay is godawful, and not having a single "We have issues with the box, kit delayed by approx. X weeks, reply if you want to cancel order" email is disgusting.
Worst customer service ever. First of all we paid for a subscription so each month we paid the subscription plus the shipphing costs thinking we have some exclusivity, then they sell all kits together ... And after that people still waiting for more than 3 months for their last kit , and the answer from Niantic Supply is wait more or cancel subscription. Shame on you Niantic Supply
Agreed. At this point, our kits are being held hostage. I doubt that I'll be able to justify ordering the next round of kits (which by now may be announced before the kit+deckbox is mailed). Horrible customer service and management of the delays.
I ordered the deck box and received an email stating that I never ordered it. I'm always having some kind of problem with them. Pretty much every time I order something.
I am still waiting for my #8 kit shipment as well. I have resigned myself that I will see it most likely on the 14th of never.

Yall are rewarding niantic for this terrible behavior by CONTINUING TO SPEND MONEY ON THEIR SWAG.
In the same situation. Should we raise an issue in the bugs section so that Niantic see it?
I’m also waiting for my kit and getting pretty much the same response every time I ask. They don’t even offer any sort of alternative solution:/
My shipment was delayed "due to an issue with the payment" yet the payment went through just fine on the same day of the month in October as it did every month earlier. I contacted them to ask about it and they noticed the payment did go through. About a week later my shipment showed up, but was just the kits and no boxes. When asked about the boxes I get the standard oh there is an issue with the supplier. Were the orders for the boxes not done when we filled out the name form? They knew in advance how many they would need, and by now if the original supplier hasn't gotten things together they should foyrce another one.
You could go hard, especially in Australia.
1) Mark transaction as fraudulent with bank for refund.
2) Australian Consumer Protection would take a very dim view of this.
For a lot of people I know they just want the cards to complete the set.
Legit this! I don't even want the terrible cardboard box anymore, "free subscriber" gift or not. I just want the part I paid for.
They offered me an "alternative" of just getting a refund 🙃

At least cancel core until it is straightened out.
Niantic Supply is run/managed by a third party, that is where the issue lies. Canceling CORE will not affect this situation positively. It might make the situation worse, forcing the 3rd party to rush things would just result in more mistakes and worse quality product than what's already seen.
You're missing my point. Niantic is still responsible, even if a third party is administering the store.
If enough affected agents got together and said "we're all canceling our core subs until you get this fixed" I would bet niantic would find a way to resolve it quickly.
The person at Niantic that was previously dealing with that 3rd party company got canned in the layoffs a bit back. Its possible that there is no one from Niantic even in contact with that company. Who knows.

Whilst others have complained about the quality of the box, I love the piece of cardboard with a sticker with my agent name /s
I'm just glad when they sent it (overseas) via UPS that the delivery guy didn't want payment for customs fees
