It is keeping me inside, to be honest. I don't have the time to clear all the Machina-misery that might be handy for the few players out there that aim for the Cryptic Memories-badge.
For those who do not participate, Machina has gotten so aggressive again that it retakes portals within 24 hours or less and totally overgrows entire areas. It keeps throwing blocklinks from hard to reach portals so often that it is getting a nuisance. Fielding is becoming nearly impossible.
When a player from the opposing team does this: awesome. I really like that, as someone has put effort in it! But this is just an algorithm, a virtual spoofer that's causing this just causing frustration. And no, I will NOT spend any of my precious time, effort or gas for that.
I just hope that after February 5th Machina will disappear asap. Until then, I wish all the Cryptic Memories badge-hunters good luck.
Compared from last years 3 each month grogyan it will be far less this year if anything it should be atleast 6-12 sites chose from not less then last year that makes no sense players gets less options for a global game its not enough so few thats what i want know why not more is it because the team cant focus and do more?

It's unfortunate that Shards nights aren't distributed geographically across the three dates like the cell battles, and also having the event on Saturday instead of Friday would have made travelling easier.
It's also noticable that everything related to lore now seems to be chucked from this anomaly series, although having characters from the anime is a refreshing change.
WRT Marketing: is a wall of text explaining the minutiae of the anomaly scoring going to draw in new players to the game? I have my doubts.

No, the supporter medal is an EARNED badge.
This is to encourage people to get out there, preferably boots on the ground at Anomaly sites.

Anomalies aren't going to get activity from new users. Events will help. Advertising...that's another thing.
For every dollar in adverts given to Pokego, we only ask 12-15 cents, more if possible.

Starting to get tired of the cube design for medals.
On a first glance, I like the format of this series. Especially the Septi and Shard sites. It's a good way forward for future anomalies.
Hopefully there will be a better spread of event sites than the last few anomalies.
Things yet to be figured out - how to get a limited number of people running Intel involved. Decoding too seems to have left the scene.
