Feature requests: Minor ease-of-use improvements
One of the best UI improvements in Prime was making power cubes easier to use-- access is right there at the top of the screen almost everywhere you need. One of the devs demoed this for me before the release and they were very proud of this change, and rightly so-- it makes the game easier to use and removes tedium.
There are still lots of things that people do regularly in the scanner that require a lot of unnecessary effort, and could be made significantly easier with minor UI tweaks. This is my laundry list:
- Separate kcaps from regular capsules in the carousel: The only way that kcaps and capsules are alike is that they're named capsules-- they are not used in the same way at all. If I'm trying to find an empty capsule I either have to start at the end of my capsules and scroll backwards to find the empties or scroll forward through all of the kcaps to get to the regular capsules.
- Put a recharge button on the key list: If I'm walking through the keys in my inventory for recharging I have to tap the key, tap charge, do the charging, tap the X, and then tap the X again to get back to the list of keys. Adding a Boost Boost Charge All button to the key list would save a lot of useless tapping.
- Allow recharging of keys inside of capsules: It's pretty common for people to keep their keys organized in capsules, and when people travel they often drop a cap of keys to a friend for recharging. Right now this process requires unloading a capsule, recharging all of the keys, and then returning them to the capsule... and it probably also involves capsuling all of your current keys first so you don't intermingle them. It would be nice to recharge keys without jumping through all of these hoops.
- Allow people to set simple/(normal)/complex, and less/(normal)/more as defaults. It's pretty typical for me to glyph complex/less more than a hundred times per day, and while I may change my desire for keys depending on the circumstances I will never want anything other than the speed of complex. (I'd actually like it even faster but complex is good enough.) Please save me the needless repetition.
What would you add to this list?

There is a tonne I'd add.
Including moving the recharge button to the other side of the screen where it was.
I've accidentally recycled portal keys because of this
I'd also reduce the side of the scroll bar button, too frequently when recharging it detects I'm over this imaginary button and my list goes haywire.
Just a couple of examples
Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Faster complex too
I'd love to have a way to mark certain Portal Keys as "Favorite" with a new filter in the key inventory just showing them.
I have a list somewhere from last year.
One can I think of now:
* They really need an Innovation Lab for auto designating the minimum level of hacked items to receive. Brian hinted at something about this for L3 and lower items. Sure, the game is about inventory management but I shouldn't also spending equal time in the inventory as well to just do an action. Some kind of automation that is very basic for auto deleting items.
* I would like timestamps of when portals and photos got added. It can even be in the same manner of Pokémon Go where it just states the number of months or years.
Oh! Another one. For things where it makes sense let me buy multiple store items at one time. If I want to buy, say, five kcaps or 100 beacons let me do it all at once rather than having to make individual persons.
This comment brought to you by the person who, five years ago, used 200 toast beacons to get her last 100K AP to get back to L16. I sat in my favorite bar and drank really excellent scotch while I made 67 separate purchases. If I want to give Niantic a bunch of money they should make it easy to do so.
Oh! I remembered one more.
When I start a new kcap, please default to the last recipe that I used and persist that across sessions. I only use one recipe 99% of the time, and scrolling through the long list of recipes to find the one that I want is annoying. Alternate option: Allow me to choose a recipe as a default.
I think a better option would be for the resos and bursters to have a single point option for each device and then you choose what level you want in the recipe as a drop down, and with that keep it with memory. I know myself will never do a L5 burster or reso craft.
One other UI they need to do is remove the buttons to purchase items from the item/weapon wheels. Annoyed that a simple **** finger could lead me to accidentally purchasing items I don't need.
1: yes please!
2: would be useful but I can't really see a place where it could go without messing up the UI (there's already too much stuff on top of the portal picture, but putting it between the pics would mean only two keys on the screen at once).
3: disagree. Keys in lockers are out of your inventory and so can't be interacted with, which is the price you pay for having them out of your inventory - if you want to recharge them, don't keep them in lockers. I'm aware you said "capsules" rather than "lockers", but it would be inconsistent to allow one but not the other (not to mention that the UI could be messy).
4: neither agree nor disagree. However, the speed should not be changed. Maybe they could implement "complex complex" for an additional speed tick.
5: yes - buying multiple Kcaps is an incredibly frustrating experience at the moment because you get to wait for the animation and then start again from the top of the store page where you have to scroll back down to get the next one.
6: yes - it should remember the Kcap recipe across restarts.
@Grogyan
1: the recharge button has been where it is for several years, and moving it now would be a UI disaster for most agents. It should never have been swapped in the first place, but we're stuck with it now.
2: yes, the scrollbar thing is a bad bug that needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
I have literally about three dozen things that need to be improved or fixed and might post them all at some point, but highlights in the spirit of the OP:
When charging how about an option to charge and when bar is depleted it automatically starts using power cubes.
Agree, using cubes most and everytime i need scroll past all those i never use hosette
For Put a recharge button on the key list: Allows you to exclude certain keys, because in certain cases you need a complete decay, reload 2 reso's, or other reasons.
I want add :
-Reward for FitRep progress
-View portal mods in the key list
-(maybe cheat) sorted keys by faction, decay, etc.
