Duplication of a nomination submitted by an Ingress Prime Player.
Let's say an Ingress player submitted an eligible nomination, which doesn't exist on the Intel map. But the nomination is already an existing wayspot in Wayfarer, leading to duplication of the nomination when reviewed.
My question is: does such a duplicated nomination (which doesn't exist on Intel Map) make it to Intel Map or not? If not, why such discrimination? Because wayfarer is the common place for all Niantic games.
The nomination is not within the 20m of an existing portal.
Everyone has probably heard about the "Wayspots addition to India" recently, which is exclusive to Pokemon GO. The newest wayspots also contain temples, churches, mosques, etc. I have submitted temples and mosques as nominations through Ingress that were not present on the Intel Map but exist on Wayfarer. What happens when such a nomination is duplicated?
I think such a duplicated nomination should be added to Ingress.
How would it make an Ingress player feel when their nomination is duplicated, which doesn't exist on Ingress?
This is a huge disadvantage for Ingress players who are trying to add more portals in areas where there are zero or fewer portals.
It should be simple, such that if an Ingress player submits an eligible wayspot that doesn't exist on Intel Map, it should be added to Ingress, subjected to the existing 20-metre rule.
The Ingress team should look into making certain types of wayspot categories (like temples, churches, mosques, etc.) when they are marked as dupliocates also added to Ingress if they are not present in Ingress.

Niantic bought FourSquare (and Courts of the World) data, and probably only paid enough for them to be in one game: PokemonGO.
When a new nomination is marked duplicate, it's picture is added to the existing Wayspot.
I guess adding a picture to a purchased Wayspot doesn't change Niantic's agreement with the data vendor.
I wish Niantic would pay the extra, to add the Wayspots to all games.
Niantic purposely chooses what they want in their games. The Foursquare imported ones they chose to not add to Ingress.
Do you think Niantic purposely chooses to make sure the Foursquare imported ones can NEVER be added to Ingress (Pikmin Bloom, Monster Hunter, etc) via the user nomination system (Wayfarer)? Because that's what we currently have.
For example, if an amazing interesting restaurant was uploaded to one game from Foursquare, it can NEVER exist in other games - no matter how many people nominate it.
As I posted in the Wayfarer forum, the Wayfarer team is to blame for this.
And the only solution is to transfer the imported wayspot to the PGO database.
