Portal overclocking status

Hello all,

I'm trying to OC a portal and so far I've uploaded 11 scans, but the OC is not activated, the portal in question is "Basketball Park Potok" (45°19'57.5"N 14°25'56.6"E). Can you please advise? After the 7th scan was uploaded the "Battle beacon" was activated, but it's staying with this status for over 2 days now, is this expected?

    Portals are not automatically activated for Overclock. It requires someone to view the portal in Niantic Lightship and attempt to activate it (this situation is not ideal - there's quite a lot of talk on this forum about it). Anyone can sign up for a Lightship dev account, but to save you the trouble I've clicked on the above portal.

    Activation is by no means guaranteed, and it is currently taking several days for the system to make a decision. Then even if that's successful it takes a further day for Overclock to appear on the portal in Ingress.
