When does iPad mini 6 support portal scanning?

Since several months ago, we cannot scan portals by iPad mini 6. We wonder when the feature will come back? We really need portal scanning to create overclockable portals.

Niantic was update Supported Devices last months ago, you can read it first.
It talks about iPhone and iOS but no discussion on iPad and iPadOS. I really don’t know why it’s different between iOS and iPadOS.
I'm also experiencing this issue. After reading the supported devices page, the iPad mini 6 should work since it runs the latest version of iOS anx is significantly newer than the iPhone 8.
Is there any update on this issue?
