Am I the only one who thinks that we will have a complete redesign of the scanner at the beginning of the new year?
What makes u say that greenvam ?
1. Niantic hardly works with this scanner. But they are busy with something new, that’s for sure.
2. We will move through the story into a new world, where we will see the source of the machine and a lot of new things.
3. Prime has outlived its usefulness and many players are tired of it, it’s high time to do something new.

If there's any advancement to the scanner, I would assume it's something under "Niantic Labs Innovations"
Hm i doubt it because that would mean they would need devote lots of resources and staff for it but who knows
Nopers. They simply don't have the dev time/cycles for that. They've laid off a bunch of people semi recently. Updates to the game have been tiny. They are probably working on something else, but it's not a redesign of the scanner.

is there any information, how long will they be in ingress store?
No. I would guess until the end of the event but it’s not been said.
Probably not.
However, they may move to a new engine if the amount is too high, as Unity will be paid for.
But even then, PGO, MHNow, and Lightship will be the first to change, followed by Peridot and Ingress.
Why should they make new scanner for dead game?
The whole Unity thing backfired and the CEO got fired.

Are we all going to be able to do Overclock? It's kind disappointing I can't scan or overclock with my brand new Pixel 8 but Pixel 7s can.
