The company behind Intel Ops sadly went under and wasn't held again yet. Niantic would need to find another company that can hold them to continue these.
OPR Live however was offered during Superposition in Munich, so it isn't completely forgotten. I can't remember if it was offered during Epiphany Dawn as well.
Intel Ops is interesting and I would love to see it reopened, but it will take some time.
However, considering that Ingress's rights to OPR Live for wayspot will be completely revoked in October 2022 and consolidated into Wayfarer, the Ingress team will not be able to hold the event on its own initiative.
Was it the same company that offered IntelOps in APAC? I believe the one in APAC is a different one. Hoping they can find one or they try to put a twist on the same concept.
I was thinking if it was possible to pitch in an idea from the community that doesn't need another company to deliver. 🤔
