FWIW: I had to restart the scanner to see the tasks.
So now it auto-activates and interrupts comm,great. Just great... How about some option to hide daily tasks? Or make them not auto-activated at least.

So does this mean we can't do it on the day it was announced? We have to do this a day earlier instead?

EDIT:
Agents, the NIA is aware of the event time issue and already has changes that will correct this for future investigations however does not want to interfere with the current investigation.
Agents can only complete this investigation once regardless of when completed during the event.

As far as I can tell, long press on the bar collapses it into an icon, but it doesn't bring the COMM messages back.
The task should auto minimize after 5 seconds, it shouldn't need any additional action from the player to minimize it. Unless they want to minimize it immediately

At least one local agent completed all 6 tasks today, a day early (March 17). But they didn't get the badge.
Will they be getting the badge automatically tomorrow? Or are they going to need to re-do all of the tasks again on the "correct" event day?
They will get the badge as soon as it's the 18th wherever they are

Edit (three hours later):
Unlocked my phone just after 00:00 local time, nothing happened. Did a drone hack, then the quest displayed as completed and I have the MZFPK medal. The notification went back to "Complete 6 HexQuest ops to finish HexQuest (6/6)."
I've now managed to minimize the notification in such a way that it won't open again (but tapping does go to the Agent Ops screen); however, there is still a permanent icon in the top corner and no COMM.
please let us know here if you get the badge at local midnight. I have to wait 7 more hours still.

Did it just activate itself or was an additional action had to be done, eg restarting the app?
I didn’t have the app open before I opened as it hit 00:00, but no notification in game to say I earned it.

I did the whole thing normally, however when the last objective was done, I too had no toast or notification, that the HexQuest was done and didn't know that I'd got the badge, until I opened the Agent Stats screen.
Done. No medal pop-up by the way.
I guess the rumours about this coming back for Q4 have been quashed. Nothing mentioned in the events and no mention of it in the rest of the update.
