IFS Salt Lake City, Utah - 3/4/2023 – St. Patrick's Day Parade
Each month our First Saturdays travel the state of Utah highlighting some of the events that make Utah such an amazing place.
This month, we're featuring the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade - the flagship event of the year for the Hibernian Society of Utah.
The Hibernian Society of Utah was formed to preserve Irish history, culture, and traditions.
The parade and the Siamsa Celtic Celebration that takes place afterwards, is the largest St. Patrick's Day celebration in Utah.
The Parade route will begin at 200 South and 600 West traveling east to Rio Grande and through The Gateway.
Following the parade, the Siamsa Celtic Celebration takes place in the Olympic plaza AND 25,000 sq ft of indoor space directly behind the stage where you will find traditional Irish food, a secondary performance area and the John Welsh Bar. Also visit the Mickey Gallivan Memorial Bar in the main plaza. We raise a glass to our old friends and surely they are raising a glass to us!
