I can't find my AP screenshot from October 9th, when the profile was released unfortunately.

Also: a bit of in-game footage (2014-05-27). We were making cross-faction fields back then...
I had a nonstandard screen when initially playing Ingress - it was bad.
I had some earlier ones, but they were lost to time.

I started in January in the same year, but didn't know then how to take a screenshot
start date : April 17, 2018. The first picture is from my first day playing Ingress.
On the day I joined Ingress, my son decided to copy me and join as well (though he was technically too young at the time). I'd recently passed on to him my old Samsung Galaxy Ace as he'd been desperate to own a smartphone. The screen was 320×480 which was below the minimum specified by Niantic. Game was playable but all the buttons were huge and obstructed the screen, which seems a ridiculous bug to have as you'd have thought the font would scale properly. I don't know if we have any actual screenshots.
Oh I can definitely show that experience 😂

It’s not my earliest, as I had a lower storage phone then so didn’t take many screenshots but it’s my happiest of earlier ones.
When I got to level 12 and was able to hold down and choose “New Portal”, was great.
