Dronenet not available because communication error

When trying to open the the drone view a "communication error" appears and there is no drone action possible. Not recall, not move, not hack, just nothing

Prior to that behaviour a "XM Object not available" or similar error appeared in the last drone movement

Device: Oneplus Nord 2T, Android 12 with Ingress 2.101.3 version

It seems a recurring sporadic problem that has no solution posted

I too am having this issue. Have restarted phone twice, reinstalled the app, and cleared the app cache. Issue on both WiFi and mobile connection.

Google Pixel 6a, Android 13, App v.2.126.1-0a89604b

EDIT: issue resolved itself. After the 60-min cooldown, drone response and done animation was sluggish, but it eventually let me move the drone to a new portal and I was able to hack.
