All three are banned now
There was an ENL linkstar yesterday from a closed parc in Antwerp (Middelheim).
[redacted] did nothing besides standing in the neighbourhoud of the parc on the public road with access/interactions to some portals on the outside of the parc....
[redacted] picked up keys that dropped after killing links to the target portal and used those keys to link to the portal once that was flipped.
Yes the portal was flipped, but this was not caused by those players....
There is/was really no reason to BAN these players. For most of us Ingress is an important part of our lives and this really hurts since they did no cheating whatsoever. A Running sojourner that will stop, all the memories from banners walked..... please restore these accounts.

This bandecision must be reversed. If enl cannot accept res tries to block ops … seriously what is the challenge to make such a star if we are not allowed to prevent it ?
Unbelievable. Being banned for no reason at all. The bans should be undone.
I know angeldust and goodgirl personaly, and there is no way i would ever suspect them cheating! They are Fun and respectful players, and they have my support all the way!
Those players are legit and play fair. Please give their accounts back and shame on these Who reported this two just because they were blocking ...
All three have not done any illegal action or unfair gameplay. Bans are totally uncalled for and should be lifted.

Those two players were trying to block the star. Not involved in any activity near the centerportals or breaking any rules.
They are trusted Agents and friends.
Pls give them back their long time fair played account.
This are two legit players. Always playing fair. It isnt right that they are banned. !

I know those players very well and they are banner addicts. They were also in several Anomalies with me ,amd severas opérations
In our team we only let people in who don't cheat
I've seen them is many events and they never cheated or even suggested cheating. They didn't have stash accounts as we all hate them who have them.
As partners they play a LOT together.
To ban them for blocking a linkstar is very unfair

From my experience, 4NG3LDU5T and GoodGirlxXx are players who follow the rules and guidelines, they were also present (in person) on many events (FS, Anomaly, xfac starburst) and they help the game/community with feedback on banners. All this since many years. They should not be punished or restricted simply because of a link-interaction with a portal that was flipped by another agent in violation with ToS. I hope their accounts will be restored soon!
Incredible décision, incredible people and always in fair play of the rules. This decision is not fair, they must be given the account!
Please lift the ban on these players, they were trying to block the link star yesterday but did nothing illegal. Check the logs, that will proof it. They have been part of the ingress community for many years and are respectful players. Ingress is important to them as they spend a lot of their time playing the game. It would be really a pity that all that time they spend on it goes lost because of they did not deserve.
Disgusting! If NIA isn't impartial and people can just be 'trigger happy' in banning players in 20min!!... This is very wrong. Keeping in mind Res players try to ban spoofers and multi accounts for years...without result. Makes you think the game is rigged!

They are nice people and perhaps made a dumb impulsive decision to throw links.
They did not spoof.
They did not cheat.
Foremost: there's clearly a lot of reasonable doubt.

Reverse the ban of those 3 players please. They did nothing wrong then trying to Block a star. Since when is it not allowed to prevent and ops ? Those 3 players are legit and play fair and haven´t done any illegal action or unfair gameplay.
Ban rather the accounts who reported those 3 players with fake reports.

Please reconsider the ban on GoodGirlxXx and 4NG3LDU5T. They did not break the rules yesterday when they tried to block the Antwerp linkstar. They are dedicated and fair players and do not deserve this action. Their accounts should be reinstated as they did not play unfairly.
so what happend, these agents got mass-reported for whatever reason and niantic went on their side? seems crazy if they did nothing wrong no spoofing or cheatin at all... if a linkstar is taken down legit why should anyone get punished because the other team couldnt accept it so they decided to mass report and now these agents got banned... wow something is not right here niantic ?? ...
legit block links is part of the game strategy, if the other team cant accept that and goes in to mass-report those agents i have no words for that.
I know @GoodGirlxXx @4NG3LDU5T as fierce opposition, but fair players, I cannot imagine they would risk their accounts by doing wrong stuff.
I have played with @GoodGirlxXx @4NG3LDU5T at many events, we organised MD Antwerp for the Umbra anomaly together.
We've even met outside Ingress and I know them to be friendly people.
They've always played completely fair throughout the years and the fact that they picked up keys of a starburst and linked to the 'poisoned apple'(= spoofed target portal) should not result in their accounts being banned.
The target portal was not a strategic island portal for mega-fields where linking to the spoofed portal within minutes of an illegal flip means you're aware (and expecting it) of the illegality of the action.
Please restore these 2 agents!
I've never met migualiteit, so can't/won't comment on him.
I have met @GoodGirlxXx & @4NG3LDU5T at an anomaly. Although they fight for the opposing faction they were very social and polite. I believe the actions made yesterday were made in mind of the game and with no ill intentions. The decision to eliminate their accounts should be revised and their accounts reinstated.
It wasn't downed legit.
But i do agree that these 3 agents were not at fault and should be given their accounts back after review.
It wasn't a mass report on enl side it was a niantic decision pending review.
Please lift bans.
I do understand that fast decision were made in this situation. But I would not understand if these bans would not be reversed.

I learned from @GoodGirlxXx, @4NG3LDU5T that they were banned yesterday.
I really really doubt that those two persons who are friendly to ALL agents and are well-known in both communities for their contributions in events and fairness in play would act willingly against TOS.
I'm convinced you'll receive ban appeals from both factions because this doesn't make sense and seems an error in judgement by the cheating detectionsoftware.
I would kindly ask you to reinvestigate and reinstate their accounts.
Their absence would be a loss for our communities.
If an agent deserves to be banned, then the exact proof should be presented to the community.
Whilst that may reveal tactics used by Niantic to identify their methods, the significant majority of us actually enjoy the getting out and about and the meetings to bother with cheating.
The various data acquisitions we have performed for Niantic by using their applications that help them fund their business ... Reciprocate some data.
Niantic wants us to trust it with the data we provide, then prove you can be trusted to be making good decisions that affect the community, and specific users of your applications.
I don't know the agents that have been banned. For me that's not important. The lack of proof supplied to the community that supports these bans reduces trust that Niantic is doing things fairly and with diligence.

Please reconsider the ban of @GoodGirlxXx , @4NG3LDU5T and @Migualiteit. I've not played with them, but from everyone I know, RES or ENL, I've heard they are honest players. Being a fierce competitor is not a sign of cheating.
With emotions running high yesterday, the trigger for their ban was pressed too soon.
Losing those kind of players will inevitably diminish the value of the game for their RES allies and their ENL competitors.
Honest old school players that are getting banned? For what reason? Please review!
