Niantic could help us to remove missions from our profiles
Hello everyone!
The main purpose of this is for those missions which don't exist anymore.
The most probable way to do it would be by requesting it to Niantic Support in order to avoid an abuse by agents.
I know a few agents who have their profiles "incomplete" because of missions / banners that aren't complete and the authors either don't play or have not paid more attention to it.
So it'd be great if Niantic could give us an option to do this and Agents indicating the mission(s) to be removed from their profiles.
Of course there might be a decrease on the mission badge since it's removed but not necessarily.
It's just an idea, but what do you agents think about this?
Thanks for your attention.
Greetings!.

why decrease on mission points? if someone has done a mission, they have done a mission.
many players have been asking for a while now to have more control over their profile: removal of mission badges they dislike, removal of medals they have no plans to complete, etc...
but the cosmetic removal of a mission badges does not necessarily need to involve a decrease in the count of missions completed.
I just want my missions hidden from public eyes
Good point, it's not necessary to decrease the points for the mission badge since it was already completed.
The alternative is to just allow rearranging, but that somewhat defeats the "challenge" of completing banners in order.
Yes.
Actually the main reason of this "feature" is for cases when a player can't complete a banner anymore because of external causes such as:
- Banner doesn't exist anymore
- The place where missions are located is unaccessible (there's a case in Mexico for a banner of 150)
Probably not a feature itself, but an option in Niantic Support.
Yeah, in discussion of rearranging, missions that can't be completed would have the ability to "push the dead ones to the bottom" etc.
Just use filler missions
Niantic never visioned missions to be done as banners so I don't think there was a "challenge" in the first place.
