Did not receive credit for a complete Battle Beacon event. Deployed the rare BB waited 10 minutes then deployed 8 reso’s along with another agent and we upgraded each other’s reso’s as the BB went through it’s 3 minute cycles. The other agent got credit and I didn’t! What did I do wrong?
Had a local that got the badge by deploying and interacting with beacons just before 11:00 UTC, the beacons finished after 11:00 UTC and it still seemed to count. So short answer is yes lol
In phase2, Will not all results be announced for each city or Regional Cell ?
It may be difficult because there are so many city and Region Cells, but it would be nice to know all the results for each city and Region Cell, if possible.
But what if, on an agent-deployed Rare Battle Beacon an hour after the winner's beacon disappears, will Niantic's ornamented portal still be used until 5:30pm?

We recognize that some Portals may be in areas that are not currently accessible or require payment to gain access to them because the tool cannot take such criteria into account. If locals Agents reach a cross-faction consensus on the forum, we are happy to REMOVE such Portals from play but new Portals will not be added to replace them."
Since the ornaments showed up, we have seen some 60 different portals in our "cluster" that had been or currently are highlighted (currently ~20). How shall we identify and report an inaccessible portal, if the ornament is no longer visible? Also we might have missed a change in ornamentation
It's unfortunate that you're running an event that only level 16+ agents can participate in.
I suppose that's in line with the pay to win model in this game...want this badge? Pay real money. Want this other badge? Be level 16 and then you can get it.
I'm glad I don't, and never will, subscribe to core. It's clear that Niantic isn't interested in growing the game. Or preventing cheaters either but that's another story.

You can participate even as a level 1 agent by interacting with a battle beacon deployed by NIA or another agent. It is just that until level 8 you won't have battle beacons available for purchase in the store.
Tonight (Feb 20 10pm Toronto time until 01:00) I interacted with 9 battle beacons in the Hamilton, ON region. I have the COMM logs showing the beacons being deployed and then my interactions after which included capturing, deploying, upgrading other agents resos, deploying MODs, and then destroying resos and MODs when the portals flipped). My agent profile is only showing credit for 4 interactions. Based on the "What counts as an interaction" portion of the FAQ I should have received credit for all 9 interactions.
What's the problem here? Both my wife (Gryphon87) and I only got credited for 4 of 9 but the other agents we were with got credit for all 9. We all performed the exact same interactions.

If the action taken matches one that will generate points towards the result of the Battle, it is counted as an interaction.
Currently, those Offensive and Defensive Portal actions are:
Deploy or Upgrade Resonator (note: upgrading your own Resonators does not count) --> Logs indicate this for all 9 portals (deploying)
Attack or Destroy Resonator (logs indicate this for all 9 portals (destroying)

Yeah, it seems you actually have to earn ap, so own resos don't count :( best to deploy on netual portals :(

Is a battle beacon which was deployed before 24 January 11:00 UTC but concluded after 11:00 UTC included in the final score?

I said "until" 5:30pm. The event is 3 hours long, and from what i understand... the ornamented portals will be re-BB'ed by NIA after 1st BB is over.
But since i found out that agent-deployed BB's are overridden instead; NIA won't wait for any BB to finish.
Where can I see these 'rules'? How do you know if Nia re-deploy BB? Can't find anything.

Um, where did the ornaments go? They were supposed to be there "up until NIA deployment time".
Selected Portals around the world will get ornamented between now and until 18 Feb 2022 1100 UTC.
