Wayfarer inaccuracy in rejecting or approving
I submitted that a portal to be permanently removed because the building is demolished and the site is under construction to build a condo and the Compucorps owner moved the location. However seems like the Wayfarer approval community rejected removing the invalid portal. WHY?

This is from the company’s website indicating that they permanently moved
It's not the Wayfarer Community that decides if a portal is removed, but Niantic themselfs. Head over to the Wayfarer forum and post an appeal so Niantic can take a second look at it:
@InvestigateXM Thank you, I did shortly after posting it here. It was no help posting in that wayfarer discussion. I don’t have that kind of personal spare time to spend submitting invalid portal via correct formatting, only to have it rejected by the community, then having to submit an appeal. Looks like the person who created the portal in the first place is keen on keeping it regardless if it’s now invalid. yet another problem with Niantic community.
thats how it works, if u have evidence the poi is no longer there to me that sounds like the portal should get deleted. U need post appeal when u get rejection email and add some photos and describe why and hopefully niantic team decides the portal to be removed. thats how i have removed a few portals it takes some time but it usually works.
@mortuus Thank you for that input. Shortly after posting, I was granted access to Wayfarer platform after completing the test and passed it. Now I can contribute to decision to ensure integrity in the approval and rejection process 🥳
The community doesn't decide whether a portal should be removed or not. That is done by the Niantic Wayfarer team, and their decision will be based on the evidence you supply to support your claim as well as their own findings.
Players reviewing on Wayfarer do not review invalid portal reports.
@Azhreia Thanks for explaining that. I drove by 2 days later from initial forum post and saw it the portal was removed.
