[Feature Request] Native Dark Mode

Others have already made a regular thread about it, but just to have it officially on the "Feature Request" tracker, I'll open it here as well.

It would be awesome if there was a toggle for a Dark Mode in Niantic Social. At the moment, if you don't force Ingress into Dark Mode via your OS, you'll go blind if you go from the dark Ingress map to the bright Niantic Social one.

Dark Mode is already possible if you force Ingress into Dark Mode via your OS settings, and by god is it easier on the eyes:
