Dedicated Dark Mode Switch

I've found on a handful of Android devices that Ingress flat out ignores dark mode settings from the device and is always in light mode. I was able to resolve this on my main device by searching through developer settings and turning on force dark mode across all apps, but I should not have to do this to get dark mode on Niantic Chat. Can we have a dedicated setting for this added for other agents?

I recognize that this is an issue that will likely never be 100% fixable, as some phones and versions of android have known weird dark mode issues, but a switch to turn dark mode on/off within the app like other apps I have use should be a huge help.

    Dedicated Dark mode switch is important. Glare from white background will prevent us from using chat in low light levels. iOS
