The whereabouts of P.A. Chapeau remains unknown, but it’s clear that he has returned and made his presence known through the Scanner News Feed. It seems that he still has more to share...Agents, search deep into the Glyph to uncover the messages he is attempting to deliver.
From Thursday, 17 June 22:00 (10PM) UTC Friday, June 18th 4PM UTC to Friday, June 25th 4PM UTC, the following will be enabled for the duration of this event:
- Kinetic Capsule Program distance reduced to 4km from 8km
- Double deploy of Level 8 Resonators
- Increased item output for successful Glyph hacking
- 2X AP for successful Glyph hacking (including Drone)
- A new event metric ‘Event Portal Glyph Points’ added to your Agent Profile to help you monitor the number of Glyph points earned
Remember: The reduced 4km Kinetic Capsule distance only applies to newly run Programs, and does not apply to Programs already running prior to the start of the Event. For example, if your Kinetic Capsule Program is at 3.5km/8.0km when the event starts, it will not be reduced to 3.5km/4.0km. The reduced distance will not be retroactive; you must complete your existing 8.0km Program, and the reduced distance will be enabled upon running your next Program.
Take advantage of the reduced Kinetic Capsule Program distance for newly run Programs by redeeming 1 Free Kinetic Program Bundle, available for the duration of this event:
Free Kinetic Program Bundle (0 CMU)
- 3 Rare Shield; 3 Rare Heat Sink; 3 Rare Multi-Hack; 3 Rare Link Amp; 5 L4 Power Cubes
Kinetic Program Bundle (2,000 CMU)
- 3 Rare Shield; 3 Rare Heat Sink; 3 Rare Multi-Hack; 3 Rare Link Amp; 10 L4 Power Cubes

Also is there a reason the free bundle only has 5 L4 cubes compared to paid bundle's 10 cubes?

I remember when double r8 was used to happen once a year... Doing it ever two months will just spoil the game.
Double r7 as standard already made it sufficiently easier.
I hope when the pandemic measures stop you also stop with this kind of events every time.

You're worried about "spoiling" a game by double R8 deploy? There's a huge list of reasons why the game is bad and double deploy isn't one of them.
EVENT SUGGESTION:
I'm looking forward to have a mini event for those who love to increase their Engineer badge point. Maybe have an increased hack output of common MODS at the portals then allow agents to put 4 mods per portal.
The previous event, less than a week ago, now, was 4 mods per portal. It might be a while before we see that one again. 😐
Oh come on,time to stop with event bonuses like shortened kinetic(what 4 u do that,an experiment?),two l8 deploy(too easy to raise l8,) and drone cooldowns.
Quality over quantity,imo. We have alot minievents but what about any fresh moves like Matryoshka?
And yes,i'm against double L8. We already have a "walk-in-a-park" gameplay thanks to itoen- mode.

You do realize these events... or any for that matter are not mandatory to play. Don't like them, don't play while the event is going on. Let those who enjoy them play.
I want more points for the glyphs. I don't need items or AP but points for the medal. When an event like this?
