Updating Unity always breaks the project in some way (which isn't always the fault of the developer tbf), so I almost look forward to some of the new issues that might spring up from this. 🙈
Besides, there's Unity 2020 already :D
I hope the COMM scroll bug would be fixed soon.

Again, nothing new in terms of gameplay and plot. Another half year of such updates, and only a small handful of agents will remain in the game. Brian, this approach to development destroys the game.

Lol what did you expect? Niantic hasn't done anything meaningful with this game in years IMO. I haven't played since 2018 until recently and there's nothing different. Prime still blows. Too many clicks for simple tasks. They create more bugs with each release than they fix. The few things they have introduced should have been available in 2014 - 2016 when gameplay was at an all-time high.
In the past month, we got Hackstreak and Drone Mark II, both with new medals. I really enjoy them myself and wouldn't call them "nothing new in terms of gameplay"
2 drone models and 1 simplified menu can be drawn in a day, + the code for another week or a week and a half. and it was not played in any way in the plot. Сomm was not fixed... Great update.
We move to Unity Long Term Support (LTS) releases incrementally, from 2018 LTS to 2019 LTS. I think 2020 LTS shipped in March 2021, and we'll review what's changed and when it makes sense to do that major upgrade.
We'll have more news to share about our new community manager soon, stay tuned.

Unity 2019 LTS is already outdated. But it must have been well tested with Lightship

Was hoping the comm would get some fix this rls, guess we must wait longer.
Take time but Niantic and @NianticBrian work to resolve it. I think it is work when we get latest unity to Ingress Prime.
Hope Niantic soon can work with Samsung and give new agents 3 month free C.O.R.E when Samsung Pay Niantic and hope sell more phones.

That's great. Will it fix the comms / activity issues so they finally show correctly?
It's been about 1.5 years since COMM is broken. I've already lowered my rating just because of the COMM embarrassment. How is this so hard to make the damn UI element work.
Updating to unity2019 may resolve the S pen issue.

@NianticBrian there is still an annoying bug, unfixed for many months / years :
When you're recharging a portal and have selected a reso slot, if you get rid of XM and type on "+" to use some Power Cubes, it deselects the reso you were, so if you type to "Charge" button, is is actually "All Charge" and adds energy to all resonators.
Moreover, if you type 1 time to the reso you had previously selected, it remains unselected : you have to type a second time on it, or select before another reso to come back on the one you want.
Using PC unselects the reso you were charging and then needs 2 actions to re-select it !

I do think it doesn't deselect the reso you tapped. That reso loses outline when you tap on plus (which is a bug) but remains selected and should be charged alone when you tap recharge. But if you tap it again, and nothing visible happens, what actually happens is it deselects the reso and you'll now charge all of them.
Thanks for the update. I prefer getting stuff fixed before anything new is added.
For me alerts tab has broken even more in this release,it should be opened few times to display alerts
Or,as another option,force comm to update.
